I love the service I get here. The team is so lovely and caring. Sarah and Alex today were so understanding how stressful vet visits can be for my cats and spent the time calming them down. Thanks team ❤️

I feel valued and like family when I take the dogs in. Other vets have made me feel like I’m only there to buy them another holiday home. I never feel that way here.

The best veterinary clinic I have found in Newcastle. The customer service is great, and the vets are honest and upfront and don't try and sell you treatments for your pets if not deemed necessary. I have been to many other Veterinary clinics in the past and this is by far the most friendly, caring and professional. If I could, I would give 6 stars.

I am so happy to have such a good vet near where I live. All the staff are helpful, friendly, and all around spectacular. Every one of them have been able to help with various things for both my dog and cat.In the years that we have been taking the furkids, I couldn’t be happier with Mayfield Vet Hospital and after a few years of experience and trust have even been safely recommending them to all of my friends and family.

Absolutely awesome team, got me in so quickly when I needed it. I have an overly anxious dog and he feels so comfortable coming here with the absolutely amazing front desk staff and the great vets. So much cheaper than anywhere I’ve visited also, highly recommend.

We had our dog here since she was a puppy right up until we had to say our goodbyes a few days ago. We are so grateful to have had such a caring team for our dog. Saying goodbye was absolutely awful but they went above and beyond to make us and her feel so comfortable for her last moments. We even came home to flowers today from the staff. We cannot Thankyou enough and will absolutely return when we are ready to get another pet. So very grateful!

Two weeks ago we had to have our much loved Lilly Dog put to sleep at Mayfield Veterinary Hospital. What a wonderful organisation I can not commend them highly enough on their compassion , expertise, explanation on exactly what was wrong with our adored girl and what her best option was, without pushing us in any direction.You may think this is expected of your vet, unfortunately we only visited this outstanding practice in the last week of Lilly's life. We were treated like they had known Lilly all her 11 1/2 years I am not sure we would have survived without your outstanding dedication , organising her cremation, sending flowers and a lovely card...Warmest Regards Katrina, Robert & Family..

I have been taking my dog Bonnie here since I got her, she is now nearly 4 years old. While our visits are few and far between I was never picky about who we saw until we had a not so great experience. When booking my last appointment I was told that this vet was no longer practicing at Mayfield Vets.Our most recent appointment was with Dr Michaela and it was the best one we have had. My dog, while big, can be quite nervous and Dr Micaela took the time to get on her level, slowly introduce herself, and try and make her as comfortable as possible - this is something I really appreciated and I'm looking forward to her being Bonnie's vet from now on.

Made me feel looked after and understood when my cat was not feeling well. Gave him all necessary tests and some medication to give him. Didn’t break the bank. Recommend :)
