The Country Dentist

My review is somewhat delayed, had a broken tooth on Easter Saturday while on Holiday with no where to go. I managed to get an emergency appointment with the help of Jane (I think it was) and saw Dr Fang.Considering my predicament, It was the most painless dental treatment I have ever experienced. Great work, thank you.

This Dentist is fantastic, I went in on a Sunday the Dentist was Dr Lewis. I had terrible tooth ache all Saturday night and they saw me on Sunday and I had a complicated wisdom tooth removed. He was so gentle and kind and did a fantastic job. I’m out of pain the bill was not expensive at all. The nurse was so kind and gentle. Front reception was really nice. I would recommend this dentist to anyone. My family have found a new dentist practice now. Thank you again Dr Lewis I’m pain free

ASK FOR A WRITTEN QUOTE BEFORE!!This is my experience.I passed by yesterday 09-05-23 and I saw the offer of $179 for a clean x-rays check up or the gap from private insurance. So, I asked if they could do there and then.Yes, they did have time.Ok, they started the work and during all this time the whole 25 min ( over 15 min was x rays and check) talking about more and more work like whitening teeth, implants, upselling . The clean was one of the shortest and the worst I have had ever, I still pass the tongue over the teeth and feel the calculus at the back teeth and canines.When, I went to pay they use the Private Health card and charged $295 trough it, to get the maximum the health allows for this that is actually $195.When I asked about it, I was told the actual work was over $350 worth, and that I was not being rip off.They were doing a quote for all the work but I said , really not to bother.I am not sure if I am disappointed with myself for not checking before or annoyed that they are overcharging my health fund and myself playing with the limits allowances.Never again.

Thank you so much The Country Dentist, the only Dental clinic open on a public holidays, for the excellent service starting from Steve at the reception who was so helpful and booked an appointment for my mum who was in pain with a tooth ache. Dr Louis who did a excellent job. Really appreciate your care and service. Will recommend The Country Dentist to all thank you again.

A wonderful find! Caring staff have gone to extremes to accommodate & deal with varied difficult dental issues with professionalism & with the best outcomes. Empathy towards one family member with special needs has been most rewarding. Keep up the great work!

Get a second opinion. Relieved I did saved me an unnecessary root canal and $3000. Visited on Sunday 14/05/23 with tooth pain, receptionist & Dentist were unfriendly & uncaring. Rushed in & after a very short amount of time (approx 10-15 mins and a cheap X-Ray was taken. I was.completely misdiagnosed with needing $3000 worth of root canal. Got a second opinion the same day, after a full hour consultation was unable to be certainly diagnosed as there were 3 different issues, 2 of which were not mentioned by Country Dentist. I now have a full treatment plan and not a quickie fix. Trust your gut, it’s your mouth and it’s really important you have one!!

Amazing dentist, they would have to be the best in the South Burnett. Highly recommend.
