Most delicious Thai food in the Inner West, I was pleasantly surprised with the flavours of all the dishes we ordered. My recommendation is the Betel Leaf. The mains has generous proportions and service is impeccable. Bathrooms are clean, you won't be disappointed during your visit.

Great restaurant! Love the food and the decor. Waitstaff are very friendly and responsive. They even gave us a free dessert when there was a slight mishap with our order! Will definitely be coming back.

Just enjoyed a meal here. Our new local Thai and wanted to try them out. Just a ‘walk in’ with no booking. The team were welcoming and very friendly. Easy menu with some great choices. Definitely heading back.

Finally, Annandale has a Thai restaurant. Just gave it a try recently. Super friendly staff, delicious food with generous size. Fish cakes and Red curry duck are my favourite dishes. Ordered one starter and 2 mains with rice for 2 people but still had a lot left for taking away. Next time might try 2 starters and one main instead. Definitely will come back. Please double check your drinks menu. There are a few misspellings that can give different meanings. Cheers!

A delightful restaurant, with warm, personable staff, delicious food and thoughtful wine menu. What’s great about The Betel House is that they go from strength to strength and understood what Annandale needed. Good food. Good service & excellent ambiance. Must try! I would come for dinner here even if I didn’t live in the area.

We read the reviews before we booked and were really looking forward to it. Sadly, we were disappointed by every dish that we ordered. It was very ordinary Thai food. We shared four mains amongst four people. I’m astonished that they think it is okay to serve such poor quality meals, when it is so competitive in Sydney. Our server was friendly and efficient. It was almost empty on a Saturday night. So I guess that says something in itself.

This is the best Thai restaurant in the area. Very friendly service and a nicely designed venue. The lunch special was absolutely delicious and you definitely get your monies worth. I highly recommend the betel lunch bowl combo. I will definitely be back.

This has become our new favourite local Thai. Lovely open space, super friendly team and a great menu.We had the betel leaf trout to start - incredible flavours and the trout was perfection.I had the beef massaman for mains - it just might be the best one I’ve had in Sydney. It’s a big call but the beef was perfection, the sauce was divine and there were no star anise in the dish that can do often ruin your mouth!Great portions and really reasonable prices.
