Price gouging!! Charged me $16.90 for a whole chicken I needed last minute. Very expensive. Will not be returning here unfortunately.

I’ve been a chef for over 40 years what I can tell you is. This is the best meat in Sydney and add nearly half price to anywhere else, especially lamb cutlets are highly recommend

Spoke to John who was really happy to recommend different cuts of meat, made sure I got exactly the right type of roast and trimmed and sized exactly as I needed it. The prices were also great as a wholesaler, so will definitely be back.

I have visited this shop many times and have been very happy with produce. Had a dilemma before Xmas as to which meats to buy. (Wanted something to be roasted with potatoes etc, as my father is elderly).Butcher suggested cut of beef to be slow roasted for 5 hours (the cut popular for Brazilian style cooking). It was amazing! Delicious and tender. My family thoroughly enjoyed their Xmas Eve dinner. Also grabbed some lamb for barbecue. Again very happy. Many thanks for your suggestions.

We have been buying meat off A&S Select Meats for 20 years now. If love sausages but don't like destroying your BBQ with fat, then get their lamb sausages. They are the only sausages allowed on my BBQ.The veal schnitzel is also the best around and perfect meal for the family as the kids love it.It is worth supporting the small guys vs the big chains. You get a far better product for the same or less.

What a find!!!. Recently moved into the area and have had on three occasions visits to this butcher. I have absolutely no hesitation in saying the purchases I have made particularly the lamb have been unquestionably top class. Without a doubt I will be visiting A and S meats for my purchases on a regular basis. I also add service is an added extra as my enquirers have been answered much to my satisfaction.
