Lovely service. Jill is amazing. Great location. Coffee and milkshake great. Pancakes delicious. Unfortunately my omelette was very bland and tasteless hence why only a 3 star rating. But will go back again for pancakes.

Wonderful service. The staff working when we stopped in were so lovely. I ordered a meal and drink for my kids to share as they wouldn't eat a whole serve (even a kids serve) and they split both into separate cups and plates which was unexpected and really helpful. Food was simple and tasty.

Some of the fruit in the fruit salad had been cut on the same board as onion which was obviously gross. The pancakes were okay, but one single strawberry? Pretty scabby.The coffee was too milky.The level of service was pretty terrible. We had to go in and get our own menus, flag the waitress down several times to take our order, and go in and get some of our drinks out of the fridge ourselves after 20+ minutes, the rest of the food and drink had been served, and we'd enquired with the waitress several times.The waitress also snapped at us for ordering too quickly, and we heard her telling another table that she didn't want to be working.We wouldn't bother coming here again.

I am sitting her now with my two 4 month puppies and couldn't be more impressed. The food was good, the service was quick and friendly. But they have gone above and beyond to ensure that when they say they are dog friendly, they mean it.

The full breakfast here is very good. Fresh and a generous portion for $15. A great hot breakfast, so I went twice in two days. The giant breakfast is $20 and again, outstanding. Great flat whites too. Outdoor seating and was busy at breakfast time. Would go back again.

First time I had an omelette that is green, dry and tasteless. A waitress with an attitude that would make you not want to come back. Ruined start for the day at The Entrance.

The food was good and the service was fast. However the price was a bit steep for what we got. Still worth checking out. Great views of the water.

Came in for a random breakfast with my daughter and it was the best breakfast Eva!!!Staff were so friendly and the vibe was outstanding.Thanks for a great start to the day DCE CAFE STAFF.

We ordered coffees on take away cup, and eat in brekkies before we head off home after our 3 day stay at the Entrance. Found DCE cafe with people queuing which means this cafe is really a popular choice.I can understand that it was a busy hour, and the wait staff explained that order may take awhile. Hey, of course its okay. We waited, and see all staff rushing, seems a bit understaffed too. Barrista was all but sweaty and still looks professional. Our meals were served early, okay thats promising. We finished our plates, but our coffees were still not served. Personally, I would want my coffee served first before the meal, but its okay. We still tried to understand. After another 10 mins of watching wait staff if the coffees being served are for us, but apparently not, we decided to follow up. Approached a man, and asked, and to my surprise he answered ‘I cant help you, you got to wait in your seat as you can see we are a tad busy!’Oohh okay, someone has not had coffee yet? I think his response could have been more customer service centric, but he didnt even finished listening to what I’m saying. Again, because they are busy. Okay. Lets approach another wait staff, young lady whom we have ordered our breakfast.And boy, this lady was on fire! When we asked, she responded - ‘I told you we are busy, and there is a wait time of 20 mins, so you will need to bear with this!’ Definitely answered not in a friendly manner. She is furious,, and looked like she had a bad day. Anyway, we were ready to go without having our coffee and decided to queue and pay the bill.Finally our coffee arrived. No remorse, no sorry received, just a terrible bad customer experience that I can still tolerate but will never forget. It actually ruined our day to be honest. But hey, what can we do, they are busy, and we are not. So yes we can only understand a terrible customer service. 1 star for me. Will never go back.

The coffee along with the Pancakes, Maple Syrup and ice cream is very good and the quick service from the staff, my wife and I will have to go back and check out the rest of the meals on offer. It’s a perfect place to look over the water and sit in the enclosed area. Thanks again.
