I'd certainly choose it again. We had the fisherman's seafood basket ($48 + drinks + surcharge) and the seafood was fresh and moist while the chips were really nice and crispy. It was oily & could have been better drained, but you need to expect that to some degree with fish & chips. We were there mid-week and it was quite busy so allow time to relax while the food is freshly prepared.

Fresh seafood platter was delicious. $65. Plenty of prawns, bugs and salmon. Chips are a must have. OMG......Super friendly staff.

The Fish Co-Op is well worth a visit. There was little on offer in the fresh Fish area owing to the weather. We had cooked Fish together with chips. Both were very good, the fish was a generous portion with a pleasant crispy batter. Although a bit pricey.The immediate area is a mess owing to extensive sea wall reconstruction, but there are excellent paths out from the restaurant area along the Marina and leading up to Mutton Bird Island, the views are well worth the walk . The cold platter was as expected, prawns were nice and tasty, oysters were good but not as pungent. The grilled swordfish had the right flavours except the middle part was a bit over. The highlight though were the chips, which had a good amount of crunch and seasoning. Seating was quite limited, so make sure you find a spot after ordering.

Came here today with the family after reading all the great reviews. Weren't disappointed. Ordered the seafood basket. Probably one of the better seafood baskets we've ever had. Really good chips, beautiful fish, calamari, and rest of seafood in the basket was tasty. Would highly recommend.
