Sent my two rottweilers to John and his wife for the 1 month obedience course, could not be happier with the results , John not only taught our two dogs but taught my husband and I how to be beter dog owners/ leaders. John is straight up and will tell you were your going wrong and right! Our dogs have come back to us looking happy and healthy and we will continue what John has taught us at home. So Thank you for looking after our two and giving us the confidence to control this beautiful powerfully breed

Sydney Dog Training Centre is an amazing where we sent our (at the time) 4 year old cavoodle! Bailey would not sleep, pull your arm off when we would walk him, never listened, couldn’t be taken out anywhere and basically ruled the house. Bailey would not sleep outside nor inside to the point where it was affecting the whole household with a dog who ruled the roost. We contacted the Training Centre about their 4 week Dog Obedience program and Crate Training where they suggested he would be good at. They are straight to the point and honest! There is not point to sugar coat our problems that made our boy who he was !!! They were very inviting for Bailey to join the program! This was and is the best thing we have ever done! We now have a dog who listens, sleeps, knows who the boss is, walks so well on the lead and now has been on so many adventures! We highly recommend Sydney Dog Training Centre and now send him here for boarding (he is now 6)! We will never send him anywhere else, because the way they treat him and also Bailey understands discipline there! Thank you so much for how our boy has become !!

I first had my dog trained here for obedience when he was about 1 year old. Timed well with boarding while the family was overseas. His training was excellent and you can see the time spent with him was substantial. Recently we are undergoing some home renovations and needed to board our dog. As expected they have taken care of him well and even washed him before we picked him up. I can tell they care for each dog in their care as they took the time to talk to me about his general well being. I certainly recommend John and his wife to either train or board your dog and will definitely be using them again.

John and Toula did a great job with my staffy. 8 weeks of total training including off lead. My dog responds really well and both John and Toula were so easy to work with and transparent.10/10 would recommend Sydney Dog Training School.

We have just collected our Loose Lucy after a 4 week obedience and crate training. The difference is immense. John and Toula showed me how to control and correct her behaviour. We are now home, and she is so calm and settled. She didn't even jump on Grandma while making dinner (her person I.e. spoiler). Thank you so much! Definitely recommended!

For 8 months I have Taking my dog max Labrador to group training there was a site improvement in him . but there was still this strong willfulness in him like jumping up on me pulling me especially when he see other dogs then one day I was waking max and passer buy stopped me and referred to the Sydney dog training Centre at first I call them on the phone I was speaking to a man called John he was so good explaining to me about dog behavior. This is when I was convinced that this is the best trainer for my dog so I booked in Max for a 4 week on the lead live in program .After the four week on the lead program I went back with my kids to the Sydney dog training Centre and picked up Max I did a 1 hour training lessen with john and Dimi. The lesson was so good john informed me and my kids how to reinforce every detail about dog training and handling my Labrador Max. Thank to John and Dimis expert training program I now can control max with no jumping and no pulling on my walks with him Top Job with Max my 2 year old Labrador

Leaving a family member anywhere can have you feeling nervous fortunately I found the good people and amazing training/boarding center in Leppington.I have 3 XL American bullies & all have attended the Sydney Dog Training Centre for training and for boarding on separate occasions. The 4 week course helped with their daily obedience and with our on lead walking.John is extremely knowledgeable, he educates and explains all the methods and exercises they implement & how your dogs personal traits respond to different methods.Two of my XL bullies were a handful to get under control on the lead - now my 3 year old daughter walks them comfortably (they are 45kg+ dogs). My third XL bully was petrified of wearing a collar or having a lead attached, he simply would not budge. Thankfully in 4 weeks John had him up and running with the lead & it breathed new life into the young pup. It was amazing to experience.I am soo thankful to John & his family at Sydney Dog Training center for the amazing services you provide, your knowledge and your hospitality.You are now my GO-TO!

My experience was amazing! I had brought in my German Shepard to be trained, where he had been trained so well. an excellent job done by John. you can tell he has strong expertise in this field of work. I highly recommend giving Sydney dog Trainning a call!

I had the worst experience here after given my dog for an obedience training for 4 weeks. This was the closest place for us and i will never come to this place again. We had to call the police to rescue our dog back from them.First they wanted to overcharge us ($2700 instead of $1300) accusing my dog of being ‘aggressive’ and him needing a ‘specisalised training’. My dog has never been aggressive towards anyone in his life. When i told them i want my dog back the next day, they changed their narrative.Then during 1 month of training they have not given me any feedback about the training , when i called them i was not able to get any feedback.Last but not least on the day we were finally getting our dog back, they treated us like dogs (maybe they are used to treating everyone like that!). there were verbal threats when i told them i was not happy customer service and the when took my camera out they run inside and lock the office doors and curtains… at one point i could hear my dog crying in the background, we thought they were doing something bad to our dog while they are keeping us waiting.We had to call police when to rescue our dog. The Police came 1 hour later and our dog was released straight away upon their arrival.they really have the most horrible customer service. The premises also look very bad from outside as well, it gives the impression of a scrap yard. I cant imagine how it is in the inside.If they treat humans like this, i dont even want to think how they treated my dog.I would not recommend this place for anyone.
