Fabulous shop with some beautiful and unique pieces Philicia Antiques and Collectables is so worth a visit! This was the first antique shop we visited in Adelaide- and after looking at three other antique shops returned here for a second time in the same day. Lovely China, silver and glass pieces - all very reasonably priced. Bought a collection of beautiful French silver spoons, an ebony handled carving knife and a gold plated embossed needle holder. Will visit again when next here in Adelaide!

Loads of antiques of all types stocked here in multiple rooms. Good selection of silverware. Items are well priced. The entry system of having to be buzzed in is different to every other antique store I have been in, but I guess they had too much shoplifting.Check opening dates as the store is closed several days per week.

Bought a lovely 1936 picture of two 620 class S.A.R. locomotives. The entire shop is a wonderful place full of history! Well worth the visit and you got sit there for days going through photographs and postcards! If you are a railway collector it's worth the look!

Amazing antique store!! I always make time to visit Philicia Antiques when in Adelaide. So many interesting, unique and high quality items at reasonable prices. Allow a decent amount of time to look through the tens of thousands of treasures here! Phil is a real character, with a wealth of knowledge and is an absolute pleasure to deal with. I look forward to returning soon!

I purchased a large glass light fitting at Philicia during my last visit to Adelaide. It was too large to bring back to Canberra in my hand luggage and Phil and Chris packaged it up very thoroughly and posted it to me - insured, thank goodness, because Australia Post managed to break it, despite Chris's excellent packing.Throughout the whole sorry mess of dealing with Australia Post, which required Chris to jump through multiple hoops (including providing AP with a statutory declaration), Chris and Phil were professional and pleasant in the extreme. They are a delight to deal with.Oh, and Philicia is also a great antique shop!Maurice Austin
