I was very intrigued to how this was going to be, pleasantly surprised. My hubby even enjoyed it ( which was the all reason for going ) I think it’s great for people that have ailments and not recommend for young. As it is a relaxing environment and if you want to sit there and chat your in the wrong place.I personally loved the hot pool and the cold plunge bath was invigorating mind and body.I opted out for refreshments there , wheelchair access pretty much everywhere. And above all service was bang on !!! I’d love to go back soon !!

I have been to this place twice now. Tucked away in the other side of the blue mountains, it is a relaxing getaway with your partner or girl friends. For the accomodation, I have never been able to successfully book one because they need at least 3 months in advance to get a spot. With the massages and spa entrance, it also takes at least two months prior to get a spot. They are only open during the weekend and they do not have a phone, so all communication is via email. It is also quite pricey, we spent 300 aud per person for 4 hr spa access including a 45 minute massage. The spa facilities themselves are great, plenty of spa to choose from with varying temperatures. As the spas are mostly outdoors, it would be a good idea to bring a robe to get out of the spa especially as it can get really cold up there. There is also a herbal sauna with the indoor onsen. The massage was good, they ask the pressure you want and do a nice oil massage. They also have a tea room where you can get drinks and food but it is quite pricey.Overall a good experience and would probably go back. I believe this might be the only outdoor onsen place in Sydney at the moment.

Great place!Super well maintained, staff is super polite and helpful and if you are lucky enough, the pools won't be too crowded. We left very relaxed and I'd definitely return.

We went during a cold and rainy day and it just made the bath more warm and cosy, lots of undercover places to laze around in. 3 hours was enough in my opinion, I'd only recommend you eat before since the food is expensive ($40) they give you free thongs and a waterproof bag. Staff are very nice and attentive. Very intimate and romantic place and traditional, clean. Like you are transported back to Japan.

Amazing experience. Service was polite and friendly. We also booked for a massage and it was extremely professional and relaxing. They only allow a certain number of guests in the facility at one time so it was reasonably spacious and peaceful. Everything was explained very thoroughly during the tour upon entry. Would love to come back!

We visited the bath house yesterday and it was the most amazing experience! It was like being welcomed home by your favourite Auntie, everyone was so welcoming and the facilities were top notch! We cannot wait to visit again x

Brilliant, the service and attention to detail was very high. From the moment you walk in you are treated as if you’re special, the various pools are fantastic and the staff take time to explain everything, the location, overlooking Lyell Lake is breathtaking and the landscaping within the property is brilliant. The only 2 negative comments are that the massage isn’t long enough, you must at least include a 1 hour massage, the other thing is that we bought a voucher for the value of the package at the time, due to COVID we couldn’t go until now so the charged us extra because they have since put their prices up.

Incredible experience. Breathtaking facilities and customer service. The food was the best Japanese I’ve ever had. Have since bought vouchers for family members.

Just as we expected and more. My partner and I booked the private bath experience and the three hour bath house entry for our anniversary. Well worth the money. It left us feeling rejuvenated, relaxed beyond belief and like we had been truly pampered. What a beautiful experience.

Amazing bathhouse with many pools. A great getaway for couples, families and friends. Highly recommend coming to this place for a great relaxing trip. The Venue is strategically designed so that you can also take all the best photos. 10/10 with great amenities, free bag and free sandals. Food is priced on the higher end
