NightOwl Kangaroo Point

Albeit Night Owl is an expensive place to purchase most things it is convenient and worth the extra we pay so we dont have to drag our lazy butts further to coles or woolies. The staff are all very polite and professional which is a rare experience in retail considering customers can be obnoxious and down right rude for no real reason. The manager Toby is always good for a banter and should really be promoted to an area manager or even national training manager as i regularly see him training new franchisees or staff. Keisha is also a major asset the company as her customer sevice is second to none and deserves to manage a store rather than have her talents wasted as just one of their checkout chicks who can make a mean coffee.I know I will remain a daily customer of the Kangaroo Point Store for as long as i live in the area.

Useless. Translink website said they have Go Cards. Walked there in the rain and found they don't sell Go Cards yet. Google said they are open 24 hours. Walked there in the rain and they are shut (only open 24 hours 2 days per week). Products are grossly overpriced. If you happen to be passing by and want something and don't care about spending a lot of money, then it's worth stopping in. But if you need something specific you are better off buying it elsewhere rather than relying on this epitome of unreliability.It's hard to believe that this far into the 21st century a business can fail to understand that potential customers use the Internet. They should be actively monitoring their web presence and ensuring that information is accurate.

*Edit: I went back in store and his name is Blake*Best store!! Great food, fantastic service.You know when you get the best service of your life and you promise you'll leave a Google review and then you forget the name of the worker??!! That happened to me here!I think his name was Bryce??My work mates and I were dying from the heat on a late Friday shift in the sun and night owl frozen drinks and awesome service saved us. I was offered a box each time and the bloke even brought it over to the machine for me, had a good chat and made my afternoon better. The only way the service could be improved was if he came out and helped put up fencing...Legend.

This store provides excellent coffee and I am always greeted by friendly staff.

Great for a late night stop or picking up items at a last minute convenience.Handy and in a great position.More expensive than your local supermarket but you ARE paying for the convenience of the store and its hours.

I don't understand why call themselves Night Owl" if they're never open at night??? They close early (midnight) which is a huge pain especially if you're a shift worker. Aside from that most of the staff are friendly

Night Owl Kangaroo Point cashier (tall, young, dark hair) deliberately palmed off a dud $20 note to me during a cash withdrawal at around 1pm today. The way he grabbed the cash out of the drawer was odd, but I was in a hurry so I didn’t check the notes. Won’t be back. Really poor form to deliberately rip off a customer.Updated 15/5; To add insult to injury, head office made a public show of “taking these matters very seriously and asking me to contact them below”, which I did and I received no response. Poor form all round really.
