Beautiful venue and delicious food. Everything was filled with flavour.Service was quite slow even as more and more tables started to empty after 2:30pm but other than that it was an enjoyable meal.

Quite the nice venue and the course menu is relatively affordable for a fancy meal in the Yarra Valley. Food tasted great for the most part, wasn't all that impressed by their desserts though. It took a while for the food to come out, but they were generous with seating time despite saying it was limited.

I visited Coombe Yarra Valley for a friend’s wedding and was really impressed with the venue and estate!The estate was the former home of Dame Nellie Melba - a famous soprano opera singer who is featured on the Australian $100 note. There is a statue of her outside the main building, and photos of her inside.The gardens are well maintained, and the tall hedges make for a beautiful backdrop. The restaurant area is also really nice, with large windows allowing you to view the gardens.

Place was really nice! Loved the courtyard and the interiors of the restaurant were nicely done. We had our lunch here to which we really enjoyed the soup entree. The mains that we had (pork belly and beef rib) were okay. The charcuterie was okay as well. Great selection of wines though.

Went to Coombe for the Garden Tour and High Tea. The garden is a beautiful addition and a great place for photos. The scones are highly recommended, and the sweets were delicious. The dining room is classic and makes a beautiful function space. Tribute wine collection was delicious. Coomba also has a small store selling local goods and tributes to Nelli Melba

Amazing restaurant. Very relaxed atmosphere. Big place, attention to small details is there. It was fully booked however acoustic system works amazing and you can hardly hear other tables. We will be back thank you guys for the amazing service

Sensational meal today. Ambience, service, cleanliness and attention to detail faultless. Food just magnificent from start to finish. Perfect plates, chilled when needed, warm when needed, well balanced flavours. Honestly, just 10/10.

House tour and high tea is highly recommended. Dame Nellie Melba’s home (which has remained largely original) is a must see of Australian history. The guide was very good. High tea was delicious and service was excellent.Bookings for house tour are essential and only occurs during the winter months. Garden tours start in Spring. I’m sure that would be beautiful too as the estate is rich with history.Update: Went back again! Had lunch. Lamb (for two) was absolutely divine! Wine was amazing …and once again, would highly recommend!
