The Lodge Jamberoo

We went here for dinner on a Saturday night for a date and it was like being in a daycare. There were so many families with children running around, shrieking, blasting movies and games from iPads. The staff were all really young and no one said anything to the families about trying to be considerate of other patrons. We ended up moving to a table outside but then more children showed up there running around us. There were a few other couples who came like us, all dolled up thinking we were going to a nice date venue. We lasted two hours but the other couples had left before us, totally not the right vibe for a date night.

We had a lovely two-night stay at The Lodge Jamberoo! The grounds are BEAUTIFUL, so much for the kids to explore and so aesthetically pleasing - photo opportunities everywhere. Lulu's Restaurant was lovely, the staff were so kind and the food was delicious. Great live music on weekends - would be a fabulous place for a wedding. The rooms were simple, but to be honest you don't want to spend much time in the room because it's so lovely outdoors! We visited Minnamurra Rainforest and the Jamberoo town centre while we were there - also had a lovely breakfast at The Valley Cafe. What a great spot for a little weekend getaway!

We spent fabulous two nights at this place for a friends wedding. As we understood this was resorts first big wedding function ( cca 170+ people over two days) and I have to give a big compliment to all staff and manager involved as they worked around the clock. Resort is in a beautiful setting, it has lovely swimming pool, bicycles and all other amenities to keep you busy if you are just staying over for a relaxing few days. We have stayed in king room, it has simple but modern fit out, but most importantly is was clean and bed comfortable. We loved decor and coziness of the Lulu restaurant and generous, delicious buffet breakfast. Definitely will come back for a relaxing weekend as we would love to explore more at close by Minnamurra National park.

Stayed in a Queen and single lodge for 2 nights. LOVED LOVED LOVED the interior design of basically everywhere in this place. lodges, bar, bistro and games room were so aesthetic so hats off to the interior designer. immaculate lighting everywhere too so great for photos. the wedding reception and garden outside the bistro is just breathtaking too. Checking in and checking out came with no dramas and reception was just a 30 second walk away and very easy to contact. we had some trouble with our fridge and lighting but an easy fix because the staff are very attentive and close by. Heaps of families with kids staying here and everyone mingling together as well as the staff’s attitude makes it a very friendly welcoming vibe. they also have a very cute fluffy dog running around the place. pool was great but me and my friends were VERY disappointed the spa was not working during our stay and would have liked to know before booking but oh well. Rooms do not come with a microwave or kitchenette so we had to ask the bistro staff to heat up our meals and the morning girls were great and very helpful, except for one lady with dyed hair on our second night that gave me and my friends a less than enjoyable customer service stink eye for using their microwave for 2 minutes! otherwise everyone here was super friendly and this was definitely the right choice to stay for our trip to jamberoo water park. ugh just so beautiful, and on top of that the views of the rolling hills and trees make this place feel so magical.

secluded and peaceful! the lodge is so relaxing in the beautiful nature of Jamberoo, we loved every minute of unwinding and appreciating our surroundings whilst still keeping ourselves occupied with all the lovely amenities they have. From the delicious dinner we had at lulus, to lounging round the massive heated pool all day, we cannot wait to head down to Sydney again as its a stay we definitely won't miss coming back too.

I am SO glad I did not rely upon reviews before booking my stay at The Lodge as I feel the negative reviews may have swayed me and I would have missed out massively!In fact I have never reviewed a business before but was so happy and so impressed that I went through the nightmare of resetting forgotten passwords to be able to activate my google account to leave a review.Firstly, the booking process was simple and seamless down to a text message the morning of the day we were checking in to welcome us, provide information and advise of processes such as directions, wifi info, parking and room access codes. Very well organised.Secondly, the resort itself is absolutely breathtaking. The grounds are stunning and maintained immaculately, surrounded by beautiful plants, unique decor, and detail upon detail. Also only a 20 minute drive through the beautiful country side in to town if needed.There are gorgeous vintage bicycles for use, a myriad of beautiful locations for escape within the escape, decked out fire pits, pontoon lighting in the gardens, beautiful atmosphere in the restaurant and bar areas, a funky games room, gym, sauna, spa and swimming pool and each with every touch of detail to make it unique.Interactions with staff were nothing but positive and nothing too much trouble, the kids started up a chat with a lovely man who I believe was one of the owners and he spent a good 15 minutes having a chat giving us some wonderful tips for places they would love to visit around the local area (which we did and loved by the way).We stayed in a single room which had a queen bed and 2 singles. There were basic iron, hair dryer and kettle facilities and whilst others have made mention of missing kitchenettes and power point locations, I feel it is important to note that the rooms may be basic but are not advertised as self contained apartments so maybe the expectation was more of a let down than the room itself. Whilst it would be handy to have a table or kitchenette, it wasn’t enough to make a negative impact on such a breathtakingly beautiful resort.The kids and I absolutely loved it and will definitely be back again! I’d leave 10 stars if I could!

Had the absolute privilege of staying at The Lodge one night the other week and can without a doubt say that I loved it.The room was great, the facilities were fantastic (I was just sad that I couldn't enjoy them more due to the cold weather!) and the entire hotel overall had a very nice and laid back feeling to it, a great opportunity for a weekend getaway outside of the hustle and bustle while only being a few minutes from town. All of my interactions with staff was also great, all were lovely and very helpful.Would 100% stay here again the next time i'm on the South Coast and would recommend anyone else considering staying here to take it up.

Absolutely stunning! The place just looks incredible - from the interior design to the gardens. It has a lovely vibe. We ate in the champagne garden and the pizzas were delicious! Friendly and helpful staff, also!

What a great place! The renovations were fantastic and made the atmosphere so entertaining and comfortable. We had dinner at the restaurant twice and enjoyed both nights. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Great accomodation, great service, great staff. We will be back.
