Tailored Trails

Mark and Jez were our shuttle drivers for Bay of Fires and Blue Tier + Atlas respectively. Both gentlemen were absolute guns. Ensured we had the best time possible, expert knowledge, and went above and beyond. I would highly recommend Tailored Trails for all shuttle services in Derby, and will definitely be returning as a customer. Onya lads!

I’ve done two trips with Mark from Tailored Trails now. The first one was a transfer and shuttle style package and the most recent trip also included accommodation, meals and the best part guided riding. This trip was amazing, and Mark looked after everything. All I had to do was rock up and ride. We hit the Derby trails and having Mark help us pick the best tracks to suit the conditions and show us the lines around big features really helped get the most out of each day. We also did some really cool experiences like the floating sauna and a private chef for dinner on the beach in St Helens. Marks a great guy, you will have an epic trip. I’m already planning next year’s trip with him.

We’ve done several trips with Mark and the Tailored Trails Team. This trip was an epic trip right around Tasmania taking in Derby, Queenstown, Zeehan and of course Maydena. I was part of a group of 11 guys (40-52 yrs) who had an amazing experience with Mark of Tailored Trails. From the airport pickup to drop off which was all so well organised, professional and easy. Blue Derby riding has everything for all skill levels and with Mark’s subtle ability at reading your riding wants you are assured the ultimate experience.On top of this the food and accommodation were excellent. Still smiling Mark, thanks for an epic trip!!! I will be back.PS The oysters at the end of the Bay of Fires ride was next level!!

Wow wow wow is all our group kept on saying in response to how fantastic and well cared for and well-planned Mark and Brendan were for our (all girl’s!) trip to Derby. From the minute Mark picked us up from the airport, and our bikes sadly didn’t arrive with us (boo), he was calm as a cucumber, quickly re-routing us to a beautiful winery lunch instead. We spent the next four days riding Derby, with not a care in the world as Mark and Brendan had prepared everything for us, shuttling us to various trails throughout the day, waiting on the other end with lunches and dinners and always there with a smile, or a story to tell about the area or the trails, or even better some last-minute mechanical help with our bikes. Mark and Brendan are such humble, kind and very knowledgeable (and passionate) blokes, they were simply a joy to be around. And their trips through Tailored Trails are organised to such a high standard, with great add-ons included such as the floating sauna (amazing!) we literally didn’t need to do or think of anything. Cannot recommend them highly enough, and have already booked in our next trip next year, as we didn’t want to miss out. Thank you again Tailored Trails.

Brendan and Mark were fantastic hosts. Our group of 6 just returned from a 5 day Derby group booking and we had a dream trip. Everything was sorted (just had to organise our own flights and breakfast) but with the flexibility to change things depending on what we wanted to do. For a group coming together from all over the country, I wanted the trip to be logistically simple but not with a tour group feel – and they nailed the brief! You won’t find a better MTB trip in Tassie.

I'm starting to lose count of how many trips I've done with Tailored Trails! Just back from another trip through Derby and Maydena, my second this year, and it was a bucket of fun! Mark and his team are definitely the premier tour operators for Tasmanian mountain biking adventures. From the moment you step off the plane, they take care of absolutely everything, and ensure you have a fantastic time no matter where you are riding or what the weather does. Tailored Trails are definitely my first phone call any time I'm getting the itch to shred some incredible Tassie dirt.

I am struggling to put into words how amazing Tailored Trails are. Mark and Brendan took care of everything so all we had to think about was riding and having fun. The local knowledge was such a great help and got us out of quite a few pickles. Mark and Brendan were a joy to spend time with and were flexible to make sure we made the most of our time and the weather. We had such a great time that we booked next year’s trip on the flight home. Can’t wait!!
