Cat is awesome and her talent is remarkable

I just knew in my heart that I would regret not having Cat photograph my birth and so at the last minute I reached out hoping Cat had a last spot and luckily she did.When Cat and I met, we had an immediate connection about all things birth. Cat has such a calm presence and I knew that I would feel comfortable with her being a part of my birth team. Cat truly understands the needs of a birthing woman and how to navigate holding space for a mum during that precious life event.In the lead up to my birth, Cat was so reassuring when I wobbled a bit about the time it was taking for labour to start. Her messages allowed me to centre myself and remain focused on the joy that was the last few days of pregnancy.On the day of my birth Cat arrived with no fuss or fanfare. She was not intrusive in anyway whatsoever. Cat was respectful and unassuming; she was in the background calmly taking the most incredible photos. When I asked for specific shots to be taken, Cat jumped into action readily. I am so grateful I had Cat there, the photos of my birth remind me each time I look at them just how incredible pregnancy and birth is.Cat happily mucked in and helped my midwife and doula clean up after the birth and worked so well as part of the team.I wish that every woman had the chance to document her birth in the way Cat does.

Cat captured our third and final birth for us. She was such a special part of our birth team. She was so attentive to me and my needs, all while taking some incredible images of our daughters birth. I look through them all the time and reminisce. Our birth images are priceless, I can’t recommend her highly enough. ❤️

Cat has photographed both our children's births and our family photos a month or so after the kids births. She is such a nurturing and warm hearted soul, who really respects the space a woman is in during birth. She has captured some of the most beautiful images of our boys, and I'm entirely grateful for the care, love and respect we received from her.

Cat was absolutely amazing. I didn't get a birth photographer for my first bub as I was concerned I would not feel comfortable having a random person snapping photos of such a intimate moment. With my second bub, I thought maybe I should. After the wonderful photos and experience I had with Cat, I regret not getting her to do photos for my first! Highly recommend getting Cat to capture these magical moments.... you won't regret it!

Highly recommended, I hadn't thought birth photos would be worth it, but cat did such a fantastic job we will treasure our photos forever.

I can't gush (pun intended) enough about Cat! She photographed the birth of my second bub, and I'm so grateful that I'll have these beautiful photos forever (wish I had done it for my first). I had planned a homebirth that turned into an overdue induction in hospital, and Cat arrived before my midwife. Since birthing in a hospital was not my ideal situation, I was relieved to have Cat's friendly, calming face there - it made a big difference to me. She's got a beautiful way about her that makes her the perfect presence at a birth. Calming, grounded, yet unobtrusive in the background.And the photos were perfection. All the right timings were captured beautifully. If you're looking for a birth photographer, Cat's your gal.
