Burramoko Ridge (Hanging Rock) trail
Google maps show that you can go further 1.5km to the track via car but you can't. Just allow extra 1.5km walking time. It took me 1hr to get there and 1hr to come back. Great views and great feeling

Burramoko Ridge (Hanging Rock) trail
This trail doesn't have the best sight seeing for the 1st half, however, the long walk was well worth it with some of the best views of the blue mountains you can get.

Burramoko Ridge (Hanging Rock) trail

Burramoko Ridge (Hanging Rock) trail
It’s quite a bit of a walk if you aren’t used to it… 10km return in total but the view at the end is amazing. The hanging rock is a further small trail and a bit rocky so take care when going with kids. The path from the car park onwards is a well maintained gravel road with ups and downs. Can be ridden too. Do remember to carry plenty of water as it gets very thirsty especially on a hot day. There are no benches or rest areas along the way.

Burramoko Ridge (Hanging Rock) trail
5 km of well maintained winding gravel track from the carpark with plenty of hills and descents for those riding a bike. Bring plenty of hydration when going out. Phone reception is good. The Hanging Rock lookout at the end of the trail commands magnificent views of the Grose Valley below. Take extra care near the cliff edges. 10 km return.
