Winning Appliances

Went to compare prices on washing machine today as winning appliances states they would price match this particular washing machine. The price was $999 but I could get it from jb hifi -which the sales assistant checked- for $599. The sales assistant made a call to her manager to which the manager refused to match the price.Decided to put it in the hands of the trading standards and let them deal with the problem.

Be careful with T&Cs when purchasing certain manufacturer products e.g. SMEG. Winning T&Cs conveniently say the manufacturer T&Cs superseded Winning T&Cs despite Winning - as agent - not providing manufacturer T&Cs at point of taking payment.I purchased (via Winning online) a SMEG SAP1099 (Linear range) oven and SMEG cooktop on 10 September at total cost $4049 only to be told ten days later by Winning Joondalup that the oven was discontinued. Notably Winning advised they had tried contacting me multiple times which is factually incorrect. There was one text “just wondering if [I] could get in touch”; then, another text on 20 September saying they had “an urgent matter” to discuss.Winning suggested an oven from the same Linear range but at greater cost. Winning then offer a completely different looking SMEG oven as an alternative but this time at lesser cost. Notably Winning also advised the oven I purchased was available as a custom unit but at greater cost.Despite ongoing discussions seeing Winning admit to their mistake they repeat I can take the newer oven at greater cost; take the different unit at lesser cost; or, take a refund. They asked “what would you like to do”. Taking advice from ACCC advice I advised none were acceptable to me so I would like the unit I paid for or the current model at no greater cost (Winning T&Cs state they will do this but apparently with SMEG you are provided no T&Cs).Astonishingly, Winning refunded the full amount despite me not requesting this and also without any notification of such. More concerning for me is I now have over $4000 on a card rather than in my bank account. Also, they refunded my cooktop which was very much needed and never part of this discussion.Worse still, Winning confirmed the unit I paid for was discontinued two years ago and they still advertised it two weeks after they took my money.I am finally told by Winning that they accept they made a number of mistakes but it’s all ok because it’s human error, oh and apparently SMEG would have provided me with T&Cs when items were delivered. The final email infers an alternative could be provided but not now because they refunded me.

Very professional service from store to installation. Great customer service that is missing from many companies and trades these days. All team members extremely helpful and quick to respond to any queries, even those that go beyond their job. Super friendly and just a pleasure to purchase from. Definitely executing at a high standard throughout the business. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Thanks to your poor help I have had to buy new Kitchen tap, my Franke tap I bought 6 years ago has failed and despite trying a few things I have not had resolve!! For a $300+ tap to last only 6 years is pathetic!! Warranty after 5 years only cover the cartridge which was not the issue, despite that you would expect a tap of this value to far exceed this or a least be repairable!! Franke and Winning had both failed to help, do yourself a favour don't buy Franke!! Went to Reece for new tap, 15years warranty on all parts, told they just replace tap there and then if fails, wish I did this in the first place!!!

Terrible experience. Stuffed delivery dates which affected the entire renovation. Bought 2 kitchen sinks, staff had to keep referring to their own website to answer my queries, Then had to do this all over again with every other sink I looked at, very exhausting! Settled and purchased the sinks, was told will arrive at a certain date - scheduled tradies a week later only to be told a week before works were to begin that the sinks will be delayed, so rescheduled tradies then was told the next day delayed even more. I tried to choose an alternative, but got same response. Found an ok alternative, then they would not price match!! Got a refund, went online and found the perfect sinks, will be delivered next week! Whos 'winning' now??

I have purchased an oven from Winning Appliances in Joondalup. The service I received from Shaun Murphy was fantastic - I went in 3 or 4 times during my decision process and he was always helpful and patient while I asked a million questions. Delivery was today, couldn’t have been better, offered to take away my old oven as well. Excellent service ! Thanks

Bought our dishwasher from them. The guy who initially helped us was good but the person who took the order details got it all wrong. Delivery address was as the stores address rather than our home address. Took day off and waited for the delivery phone call nothing happened. Not a happy customer

What a great experience I had with Winning Appliances. Their sales staff was responsive and understanding to my requirements and they called back when they said they would. Having one person take ownership added to the overall lovely experience I had. And not to mention their great prices and commitment to customer satisfaction.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to Jenny who works at winning appliances in Joondalup, she was the most helpful salesperson that I have ever encountered in a showroom ever. Not only did she go above and beyond with helping us look for what we wanted, but she also made sure to check that what we wanted, was what we wanted, not what we settled for, not what was a good alternative.The showroom itself is also a wow factor, but that's just winning in general, its a bit daunting entering it at first, but once you speak to someone you'll know that they are there to help you.
