Anyone looking for advice on hiking shoes should ask for Luis! He took the time to explain everything I wanted to know about hiking shoes and he’s really enjoyable to speak with. He made my experience comfortable and assisted me in locating the shoes I needed in other Kathmandu stores. High praise for his effort and assistance.

The lady at the counter this morning was very rude and couldn't help with the size in other stores. She asked me to check online by myself. Never experienced this kind of behaviour with any other Kathmandu stores over the years, totally disappointed.

Had a quick walk through the store. It is like any other Kathmandu store. The prices are not super discounted but they have a lot of range. The store is quite large and they have most of the products that you would need. The service here wasn’t the greatest but I can’t comment too much as I didn’t really need help. Overall, I’d come here if I’m looking for a lot of stuff for a camping trip, but if I just wanted one thing, I’d probably just go to a normal Kathmandu store.

Worst Kathmandu store I had ever visited in years .Customer service person Analtasia was such a rude person that I was surprised is this Kathmandu or some road side store selling seconds .I went there from Rouse hill store as per the advice from Rouse hill store manager for a exchange which has been clearly instructed to exchange via phone calls and email from Rouse hill store manager to Reynard store manager however when I reached there driving almost 40 minutes this lasy started speaking in a rudely and asking as if she was doing some favour .I don't that I need to complain about your rude behaviour, she said do whatever you can.

Don't bother with this store if you are looking for service! Walked past the desk where the two staff members were and there was no attempt at all to acknowledge customers as they walk in let alone offer a greeting or welcome our offer help. My wife wanted to replace her Kathmandu sandals where the velcro was not working making them useless although they had plenty of use left. The male staff member who finally walked our way as we looked at sandals, not to offer help but to put back stuff on the shelves and was totally disinterested and indifferent when we told him of the problem and asked for help with sizes and brands. When told about the issue we had he directed us to the Manager who was still hiding beyond her computer at the desk and showed no effort to look up and help us. Bought hiking shoes and sandals for my wife and myself here and had so much help from staff who were there at the time around two years ago. Now we wouldn't return to this store. So we walked out and went to Parramatta Kathmandu at Westfield where we were greeted on arrival by the young cheerful lady at the counter. Whilst we had every intention of buying a new pair, when we told her about the issues we had she went and spoke to the Manager who came out and offered us a free replacement after confirming that we had indeed bought it from Kathmandu. What a difference with people committed to their jobs and know the meaning of customer service which doesn't exist here at the Auburn store.

It's an outlet store, so you don't always find everything that the other Kathmandu stores supply. That's just a given. I've purchased many items from this store over the past few years. You could really find some great prices. Despite how busy the store could get, the shelves are very well organised. One of the workers in the store is amazing, and helped me choose out a gift for my sister. I could tell that she really cared about the store. She was patient and very friendly with me. If you're reading this, thank you Debbie for your help!

It's a factory outlet, however it's hard to find discounts more than 50%. There are reduce for clearances areas. Good luck to find anything really useful.for Outdoors.
