Bruxner Park is known as the Green Town Square it was named after the MP and Deputy Premier Sir Micheal Bruxner . He was the Member of Tenterfield from 1920-1962.The land was part of the town subdivision, it became the Post office sites and in 1910 dedicated as the site for a town hall. By 1933 no progress had been made so the land was rededicated for public recreation.The park now has the Council offices located just behind plus toilets, amphitheatre, seating and a large central green space.
