Adairs Outlet Essendon (DFO)

We purchased an artwork for delivery in-store that we were informed of being in stock. We confirmed the delivery date and time via text message with Adairs' outsourced delivery service. On the day of delivery, no one turned up to deliver the artwork.When I called the delivery company, they informed me that this was Adair's mistake as the item was not in stock and that Adairs should have contacted us. We waited several days for Adair's to contact us with no response, not even a phone call. When I called Adairs customer service (long wait times), the customer service representative blamed the delivery company for the mistake. She informed me that we would have to wait several weeks for the product to arrive, or we can get a refund. My wife is very keen for this artwork, so we decided to wait patiently.Yesterday the artwork finally arrived (I had a very happy wife! - only for a moment). We quickly noticed that the artwork inside the box was not the artwork we ordered! In fact, the artwork description on the box was even wrong. We have now tried calling Adairs twice since yesterday to sort out the issue, but have spent 20-30mins wait time on the phone each time. Waiting for a call back to see how this situation will be handled. Who will be blamed for this mistake?We tried calling this store (where we original placed the order) throught this ordeal and they were either rude, or unhelpful.

Good ranges of products. Having sale items most of the time. Sometimes you can find really good stuff with great value for money.Great customer service too. Highly recommended.

Just spoke to Jacinta, who was more helpful than head office customer service. What a great experience. Jacinta was lovely, great customer service and more than happy to help me with my over the phone order. Highly recommend Jacinta for her 5 star customer service.

Called to ask for a product just now and the team member named Andrea who answered the phone was so rude.I gave the product name and told her I was gonna go to the car to get the code but explaining that it was heavily discounted while I was getting out of the house. I was abruptly interrupted saying “I’m gonna need a product code” with a very annoyed tone. I then continue to tell her that I was after a green colour but then told that “you need to tell me if it is olive or something else!.When I called unihill earlier before calling them they sound just as miserable as the person I spoke to just now.Terrible customer service. I cannot imagine going to the stores because I’m sure it’s gonna be even worse.This is coming from someone who also manage a store. I wouldn’t hire people like that.

Staff can make or break a shopping experience and the staff here definitely ’made’ it. They were friendly but not gushy. We bought the things on special and saved heaps. There are plenty of quality items and the prices can be reasonable. The staff did some good suggestive sales to us because they talked about how they use the items and seemed excited and authentic about it. There are two adairs shops at DFO - we were at the outdoor bigger one. Well done for having great staff

Was help out by Melissa today, wonderful customer service so very helpful. Can’t wait to come back in to receive the great help with bedding at a great price

Fiona the staff member very helpful service helped us with a throw on the bed and gave us good advice on colour contrast, not pushy and very easy going

The manager Melissa is pathetic. She is vulgar and treats her employees badly. Watched her yell at a employee infront of everyone and sent this poor girl crying

Just went and purchased a large number of cushions for my living room, and it being such an exhausting endeavour, I had such a wonderful experience with Fiona in-store.She was so delightfully patient, had such a keen interior design eye for detail, and was very accomodating.Would strictly return and happy to part with my money simply from the wonderful exchange had in-store.Yet again, thank you Fiona.
