Box Head Lookout
This is a beautiful walk for all levels. There are a few areas along the way that are a little tricky. The view is amazing along the way and it is unbelievable when you get to the head. There are so many little lookouts along the path to the head. Take them in all in as you hike along. A nice easy walk if you take your time. Loved it.

Stunning and easy walk from the parking lot. Amazing views from every angle! Follow the sign from just down the parking lot, then follow the trail. Around an hour return (with a pack)

Wow. Stunning!! So worth it.We parked before the road turned to dust... (4WD only...or get beached like we did on the first bump" in the road!!.. . Could have been embarrassing if we couldn't get unstuck!)Walked right to the end till the sign said... No more track! Was so lucky to see a seal!! Just playing off the end of Box Head.The whole Park is full of beautiful birds

4wd needed to access via road. Walk through bushland is great and the view is breathtaking.

The walk is short and easy. It's not particularly well marked in some places, but not bad enough that you'll lose your way.

This is definitely worth the walk. It's not an easy walk though, so would recommend a moderate level of fitness. Not suitable for young children. About 40 minutes return.

Box Head Lookout
Box Head in Bouddi National Park offers stunning panoramic views of Broken Bay, Lion Island and over to Barrenjoey Lighthouse on the Northern Beaches. The walk to Box Head is easy and enjoyable, passing through beautiful bushland and along the beach. If you're driving, please note that you'll need a 4WD to get to the national park gates. It's a great place to escape the crowds and enjoy some peace and quiet.

Amazing view of the harbour and Palm Beach from a different angle! Be aware the fence is quite small and better not to go over it as cliffs are high and dangerous! But worth the walk on the crest.
