Schmokin is my go to place for a great feed, great atmosphere and above all FANTASTIC service. You can’t go past the Martyn’s Roll. But it’s what is not on the menu that is the real hit. It’s usually on the counter just as you are ordering. It’s Mel’s AMAZING Caramel Slice. Don’t let the Gluten Free sign put you off. I laughed at it and Mel said that they taste better. And better it was. I am confident in saying that they are the best Caramel Slice I have had. Not sickly sweet, but creamy and balanced.

The perfect pit-stop to break up the Sydney-Canberra trip (though I since discovered it is not open on a Monday).I highly recommend pulling over in the pretty little town of Berrima and picking up a snack at Schmokin'. The coffee is great and Mr said that the lemon slice was moist and tangy. The extremely generous serve of potato wedges was piping hot and delicious accompanied by a generous serve of sweet chilli sauce and sour cream ( unlike the measly amount that other places usually provide). Note: wedges are not normally sold as takeaway as they don't have boxes big enough (we were given two). Will have to leave enough time to eat in next time and try the other cafe menu items.

Sunny courtyard, laid back vibe except for the motorcycles rumbling in( not complaining , a lot of classics to look at). Small but tasty menu, good serves.

I loved this place. The people are just so delightful and helpful on a cheery Saturday morning. We had some of the most delicious brisket I have ever had in my entire life. The servings with really well portioned, and they were just so many options of beers and other drinks. We will definitely be visiting this place more more each time we pass by in the future.

Unfortunately our visit to this place wasn’t great. They were doing a “brisket burrito” for Aus Day so ordered that. Waited 20mins (understandable given how busy it was) but then when I got it, it was cold. When I say “cold” I don’t mean “not hot”, I mean it actually felt cold! I guess I assumed after 20mins & ordering brisket, it would be served partially warm at least. It wasn’t even folded well enough to eat without falling everywhere. Maybe because they used Lebanese bread, which maybe should have been advertised as a kebab or pita bread - certainly not a burrito. I would have been happy to pay the 15% public holiday surcharge if the food had been decent, but getting cold food means that I left feeling ripped off given other stores in town aren’t charging a PH surcharge. Wasn’t worth $20. Only reason I didn’t return the food was because we didn’t have another hour to spare waiting in line/for food to be redone. Giving two stars because at least the customer facing staff were trying their best to keep up on this busy day.

Top food and customer service! These guys run a super smooth business, have genuine staff (the type that smile when they serve you, ask if you need anything, and actually look like they want to be there) and their food is ultra schmokin’! Definitely a must visit!

The service was amazing. The food was so good. Compliments to the Chef. My fish was cooked perfectly and fell apart when I get into it. It was so good my husband also had some and he dislikes seafood. My husband had Nachos and they were the best he has had in a long time. We recommend Schmokin to everyone. We will certainly be back.

Stopped in for lunch on our way to Melbourne, service was amazing. All the staff had smiles on their faces and were all lovely. Food was reasonably priced and tasted great. I'd highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat if you're in the area.
