Best Western Cattle City Motor Inn

After breaking down 40 minutes outside of Rockhampton, by the time RACQ rescued me it was very late. The staff went over and above by accommodating me in a beautiful room that was very clean and comfortable. I stayed here over a decade ago and I was pleasantly surprised by the improvements. Split system air conditioning and a ceiling fan is always a winner in my books, so i was very happy that my room had both.

Room was spotless, cleaned every day and bed was so comfortable. Staff very kind and helpful. The restaurant is amazing. I still go back there as the food is fresh and very generous. Great location.

Looking for night to stay, this place looked very clean, neat and tidy from outside, very friendly and helpful staff , our room was lovely, very clean, room service was amazing, I would definitely recommend

We very much enjoyed our stay. Clean rooms, nice bathrooms - looked like they had been renovated recently. We stayed a few nights and they checked in to make sure towels etc were fine. Fresh milk in fridge. Fridge kept a bit of ice cold. Pool was very nice and clean. Lawns well kept and hedges tidy. Laundry and dryer was well maintained and worked very well. A well looked after motel.

Really enjoyed the hospitality extended by the management and staff of this motel. They went out of their way to make my stay effortless. The breakfast and dinner menus are the tasty standard fare and the service was friendly, competent and timely. Definitely going back next time I'm in Rockhampton.

I have stayed at this motel on a few occasions and I have to say for what it is it's my favourite in Rockhampton. The rooms are to a standard and appropriate size and the facilities add that small touch of comfort that one comes to expect when travelling around the country, there was complimentary tea, coffee cookies, as well as a toaster, kettle and a microwave for preparing small meals. The staff were friendly and we ordered 3 main meals as room service that were delicious. It has a very quaint restaurant in this hotel and I have eaten there before this stay and it is truly very cosy and quaint. So over all, a great place to stay.

Such a clean convenient motel. I was very impressed with how clean the bathroom was. Not a hair in sight! Water in pool was warm too, that was a nice addition for the children after a long day of driving. Front walls were a little thin and we could hear everything happening in the car park. But it was a great rest stop.

What a fantastic find. Great hosts refurbished rooms new bathrooms. 1 bedroom apartment worth the little extra. Restaurant food very good. This is better than the biggest hotel in town. First class telephone the host book direct to show your appreciation of their hard work with these great rooms. Book this and not be disappointed.

My daughter and I stayed here over the Easter weekend for 3 nights. There were more than 20 rooms so they took in a lot of money. Because there was an event in Rockhampton this weekend, the price was raised from $145/night to $430/night. On arrival they told us they were not providing room service so we had to make our beds and empty our rubbish, no clean towels for 4 days. When we asked about food they advised us to go down the road and get take-way. They had a very basic menu available and the prices were expensive. I would never stay here again and would advise people to steer clear of this hotel unless there is no other choice which is what happened to us.
