Consistently reliable high quality meat.I don’t eat a large amount of meat so when I do I want it to be very good.Put simply, that’s why I continue to buy from here.The added specialised knowledge of cuts and cooking methods is a bonus.

Such a disappointment. Asked for their best flavoured steak. They sold me their most expensive steak (what a surprise!) - a scotch fillet. It was devoid of flavour, tough as boots and full of sinew and gristle. And the butcher laughed as he sold it to me, sitting on his bum reading a newspaper. Disgusting service and terrible meat.

Great range of all meats. Great quality and excellent service. The seafood also is very good. Bought some wild caught scallops. Unbelievably good. Highly recommend.

I didn’t grab the Butchers name who served me but he was a bloody great bloke. He recommended me the “Balnarring banger” and a flavoured chicken rib for my BBQ and said I’d be back for them again. He was right I will be back for them they were unreal!! So tasty. The steaks and fish I bought were also excellent. Great meat and great service!

omg, just had the best tbone steaks from here, could have cut it with a butter knife! Friendly owner, will be back to try other things good orices for grassfeed, soooo yum

I've been going to Mark & Mel's for probably close to a decade and never, ever have I had a bad piece of meat, or seafood for that matter. Definitely ask what's fresh in and you may be surprised by something completely unexpected. Friendly, fabulous and downright delicious. Best butcher on the Peninsula.
