Senses ELC

We love Senses ELC!My son has been at senses for just over 3 years now. He absolutely loves it. Over the years he has made so many bonds with both educators and other children.The staff are all so wonderful at what they do, they are very passionate and caring for each individual child.We recently moved house, to the eastern suburbs yet we still attend senses because there is just no other centre that compares!

Providing the opportunity for a child to thrive in a safe environment was a key focus whilst enrolling our daughter into child care. Senses ELC certainly sets a high bar and we are so grateful for the care and family oriented culture that the centre embraces.The centre itself is absolutely amazing where every single detail seems to be considered and provides the necessary facilities and equipment to nurture our daughter and provide a holistic learning experience from physical to social and emotional wellbeing activities and the cognitive aspects. Our daughter loves the cooking and music classes.The Senses team are second to none, each educator is absolutely fantastic, and you can tell the importance that is placed on bringing on the A-team. They are highly switched on, open to feedback, approachable and overall great role models, which is all that we can ask for.I would highly recommend Senses ELC and we are ever grateful to the team for the input they have had to our daughter’s early learning and need to take some credit for setting a good foundation for the later years of her life. We wish they were around when our daughter first started child care a few years ago!

We love Senses ELC! The team are incredibly dedicated and caring. They welcome us so brightly every day and my daughter Charlotte is always so excited to see them. We feel like the centre is an extension of our home and we're so thankful to have such a wonderful team caring for our daughter.

Staff did an excellent job on trying to settle my son in at the beginning. They were very patient and friendly which really helped with the transition.

Our child Mary loves going to Senses everyday! The early educators are passionate in what they do and makes a lot of effort in making the learning activities fun!Special thanks to the pre-school teachers ( Lady and Julia ) who are doing an amazing job in making all the early learning activities filled with much fun such as the Science incursions, Sustainability workshops, Book week, music classes, Physio play, the Solar system, cooking lessons with the in-house chefs and much more! The pre-school teachers and the assistant Director Tina are also very supportive in caring for Mary who has eczema and some food allergies. There is a constant management plan in place to ensure that Mary receives the best care in Senses and we do appreciate the work and efforts all the early educators in Senses are putting in to make it a fun learning place to be !Highly recommended!!

Our daughter Charlie has been going to Senses for almost 3 years now and she is currently in one of their preschool rooms. The level of care and nurturing is great and there are plenty of activities. She had many great educators that she loved and was very attached to and they were so great with her. We really enjoy reading the updates sent throughout the day but do wish there are more of them especially when sometimes, we don't see our child in the any of the photos posted. Overall, we are happy with Senses and our little one feels at ease being there.

My son is anaphylactic to wheat and allergic to egg. He got fed both of them in 2 different occasions, ONLY few weeks apart. He was in a verge of having a cardiac arrest & it is still traumatic for me to think of that day.. Honestly I don’t even want to give 1 star. Because it was one of the worst decision I made to enrol my son into this centre..I wish I can take back the time and my son didn’t have to go through so much pain & unnecessary injections & end up in ICU.

We now have had two children attend Senses with one current, so I am writing with significant and broad experience of their amazing team of childcare professionals.Tina and her team are some of the most experienced and professional carers we have ever dealt with.Having moved back to Sydney after 14 years in London we were worried about many things including the relocation and adjustment for our then 4 year old and us having no understanding of the level of care given our experience in the UK was second to none and our 4 year old at the time was due to start Kindergarten (and not go backwards to another year of pre-school!).Our worries were alleviated from the time we did our research along with that of our relocation company when we discovered Senses. Our relocation company people were even shocked at what Senses had (and still has) on offer.From the sensory experiences to the unique indoor/outdoor covered areas, sports activities, swimming lessons at the time (only stopped due to North Sydney pool redevelopment), amazingly lucky outdoor trips to the most beautiful harbour in the world (my 4yr old was painting the bridge and Opera house!) to Steven and his amazing meal plans (plus take-home dinners!).This amazing ride with senses has continued with our second son for the last couple of years where he has got to experience the same level of professional care where they have had to deal with him and his very different but equally determined nature to his older brother.I could not fault this nursery over the last 4 years and could not recommend them more highly for providing both my boys the greatest opportunities to develop and grow both in their own unique ways (and my youngest is a force to be dealt with).I can only thank them for the kind, caring, understanding and now well-articulated boys they have become due to the early seeds and development that Senses instilled in them.Please reach out to Senses should you wish to contact me directly for any confirmation of what is written above.

Staff are excellent, my son loves it here, good communication, the app provides us some nice moments and updates.
