Dropped my mum's car in for a service.1. When i called back to confirm booking time for next day, had lost my booking and had to push it back.2. Didn't advise of error code in car computer, just cleared it and said nothing. This caused nore issues later.3. When mum went to get her car later he charged her more than quoted. When i asked why he said, Because I couldn't tell him what type of oil filter it used". This confused me because i gave all car details when requesting the quote and i pay a mechanic to know what oil filter i use. Happy to pay more when needed

after reading the great review, we dropped our car for a 115k service. End of day, service done, and a thorough check over reassured us. But it's the finer details that impress. Log book found and filled out (instead of us asking), and spare tyre pressure checked. These simple things tell us careful diligence are practiced here. Very nice to find such service.

During this year I have had tailshaft, head gasket and sump issues which have all been correctly diagnosed and fixed by Ed. The quality I value most of all in a mechanic is trust, and after the many visits my BMW has had to the Ivanhoe Service Center Ed has my trust. All of the issues that have been fixed haven't needed to be looked at again. He tends to be slightly higher priced than your average mechanic but as a car guy, an extra couple dollars spent on peace of mind and knowing that his quality of work will be top notch is money well spent.Gets my highest recommendation as an addmitedly regular customer

I take my Mercedes to Ed and the team and would recommend him highly. Not to mention the savings compared to dealer servicing. He's also helped me with various aspects on my resto project. Honest, knowledgeable and personable.
