Looksmart Alterations

Ruined my dress! Made it way too short despite pinning it right above the knee when I went in it came back looking like a top! The lady was very rude as well, should've been a red flag. Do not come here if you want a wearable item of clothing.

Friendly service. I did not require to pickup my suit alterations until Thursday but they emphasised it would be ready on Tuesday. I dropped by on Tuesday and it was not ready. The end product was perfect though

Thank you Tammy for your service on Friday, when I bought in a pair of trousers to be taken up - and you had them ready for me by the time I finished my grocery shop. Always get good service, and alterations are always of a really good standard. Thank you.

Terrible! All I needed was to my work jacket’s sleeves to be shortened, they were way too short! The lady who measured the sleeves didn’t take into account that I would bend my arms.so I came back to tell them they said they’d just undo the hem as they have no other way to fix them but it’s still too little fabric to do it well. They said it’d be ready the next day. I came back three weeks later and still I had to wait “5 min” (a lot more) because one of them wasn’t done yet. My jacket was just dumped amongst a bunch of clothes, I’m lucky she found it.I have to order a new jacket at work because I look like a clown. This is ridiculous.I won’t bring my clothes to the Glenorchy shop again.

Miracle workers.I had a dress that needed some serious work done due to sunlight damage. it required one of the panels to be removed and reversed. This dress is made from a variety of materials and required skill, attention to detail and extreme care, both of which Looksmart in Glenorchy provided. Thank you so much to the incredibly talented seamstress.I also had 4 items dry cleaned.10/10 Highly recommended

I went into looksmart because of their excellent review. I can only add, they certainly lived up to and deserve 5 stars; courtesy, efficiency, and price. Fantastic! Highly recommend!

I would like to advise that I have had nothing but a good experience from this store, they are quick and efficient and cost effective. I am glad we have this store as to be able to give competition to the only one that was in Glenorchy before. I have taken several items to this store and I will definitely be going back, and so will several other people I have spoken to.
