Nice quality reasonable ($55/$60) jeans with tailoring included. Great service and decent selection. Just be prepared to spend some time, there's not a lot of fitting rooms and people might take them up for a while. Definitely my go to spot for jeans in Melbourne.

I visited the store on a Wednesday mid afternoon. Stock of my size was a little low but I found suitable jeans. I was told they get more stock on a daily basis if I wanted to wait for more variety.They made several alterations to both pairs I bought. Pickup was 1 hr after purchase. I'm very happy with the fit and price.

I recently had a disappointing experience at Dejour Jeans that I feel is important to share.I visited the store intending to purchase corduroy pants that could be altered to fit me. As a male customer, I was recommended to try on a women's set of corduroy pants, which after alterations seemed to fit perfectly. I left the store satisfied with my purchase.However, when I wore the pants to work a few days later, I was dismayed to find that the pockets were far smaller than expected. They were unable to accommodate items I typically carry, such as my phone and wallet. As I had not purchased women's pants before, I was not aware of this feature and was not informed about it at the time of purchase.When I contacted Dejour Jeans' customer service, I was told that I could not return the jeans as the tag had been removed, despite the jeans having been specifically altered to fit me. I was also blamed for not having tested the pockets when trying on the jeans. I found this expectation unreasonable, as customers generally focus on the overall fit and comfort when trying on clothes, and it is not customary to check every functional aspect such as pocket size, especially without prior warning about potential differences.Furthermore, I was told that the owner would contact me the following day, but I have not received any further communication, which added to my overall dissatisfaction with my experience.I believe that customers should be made aware of significant functional differences in the garments they're purchasing, especially when it could affect their daily use. It is disappointing to experience such a lack of customer care from a local business. I hope this review will help others make informed decisions and that Dejour Jeans will take these issues into consideration to improve their customer service.Overall, my experience with Dejour Jeans was far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share this in the hope of better consumer awareness.

I wanted to add this to counter a previous review. I've been to dejour a few times over the past 5 years and always had a good experience. Today I went in at 9.30 and we were the first customers, no wait and 3-4 really helpful assistants sorted us out in 20 mins. Left very happy with a pair of jeans and a skirt. I told the girl helping me I was 4 months pregnant and she couldn't have been more helpful with sizes and tailoring. Yes, they've moved some production to Vietnam but it's still excellent value and I really think if you want these local stores to stay open you need to use it or lose it.

Amazing tailored service. I was looking at skinny jeans but liked the colours in the the flares and the staff / owner said he could tailor them to be skinny. So great.Also love the range of colours and styles.

Great local store with a great range of jeans to suit all tastes. The prices are very reasonable, especially as the price includes tailoring. Lovely staff who are very accommodating. Well worth a visit!

These jeans are great. Based in Australia (now made in Vietnam due to lack of workers here). Long legged people may wish to call ahead to see what they have in stop. $65 is a great price and worth the effort to get there.

What's there to not love about this place! Custom fitted jeans - walked out with 5 pairs of Jean's.I do suggest you get here early as the waiting and line can be out the door. There is a little bit of a wait while the Jean's get altered but you can always go to a nearby cafe and come back and collect them.
