As I disclosed to the employee that I played the oboe, a cherished instrument requiring great skill and dedication, I was met with an outburst of laughter. This derisive response struck a blow to my confidence and shattered any semblance of respect I had for your establishment.I am appalled by the lack of professionalism and basic human decency displayed by your employee. It is both disheartening and disturbing to witness such behavior in an environment that should celebrate the beauty and diversity of musical expression. Rather than fostering a sense of inclusivity and respect, your store perpetuates a toxic atmosphere that marginalizes musicians who do not adhere to mainstream stereotypes.In light of this distressing incident, I demand a swift and appropriate response to rectify the situation. This is certainly the place to go in Sydney for all your drum needs. The guitar and amp section is extensive too. These guys have what you need and if by chance they don’t they will find it. I had a great experience today- no pressure sales, just a friendly helping hand. Good parking out the back. If you can’t make it they have a fast inline service too. Recommended

Despite all the positive reviews, my experience hasn't been positive. I purchased drumsticks on 13/3, and was emailed on 23/3 asking me to pay $10 delivery (it was free delivery on check out), which I did. As of 9/4 I still have not received the drumsticks. I am sure they are amazing in person, but their online store experience has not been good!

Seriously awesome service. Ordered a drum kit on late Wednesday night and was delivered first thing Friday morning in Newcastle. Packaging of the drums was amazing and no way they were getting damaged in transit. Absolutely first class all round, from the customer service to the final product being delivered. Huge thanks to Sav for everything and getting my dream kit sent out in perfect condition. Very happy customer. Highly recommend drummersdream.

DO NOT BUY FROM HEREThey seem like lovely people, but in January I was sold a 5 piece drum kit from here with kick pedal included. Problem was the kit was priced as 6 piece (from their website) in the same brand (Tama Hyperdrive) and no-one noticed. I was also charged for the pedal.Fast forward to now and I have been waiting a month for some kind of resolution. I call, they tell me they'll call back. I wait a week. I call, they tell me they'll call back. Do not buy, or if you do, make sure you do all of your research or you might be ripped off to the tune of $600.

Great selection of goods. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I always recommend my drummer friends come here, whether for sticks or a new kit. Cut me a good deal too and were quick to send me a missing part that I needed. Big ups to these guys.

Was looking at a particular guitar for a while online. Wanted to go check it out, drove an hour to get there, and was told that the guitars aren’t for playing only buying. I said how do you know you want to buy it if you haven’t played it. I was told be quick and hurry up we don’t like replacing strings from people playing them. F.U guys. This is not how one buys a guitar, especially when spending decent $$$. Obviously not run by real players anymore. Never going back!!!

My daughter and I popped into the store this morning and were promptly greeted by Nathan, he then asked if he could help us with anything, i explained that my daughter would like to see some entry level electric guitars, he was more thank helpful explained all the options and at no time ever made us feel pressured and more importantly tried to upsell. Nathan is an absolute pleasure to deal with, we bought a guitar, amp and could not be any happier with the purchase. I highly recommend Dream Music, who from what i could see have the knowledge to suit the novice all the way up to the professional and the staff to cater for all, thank you very much.

Great customer from the very knowledgeable Nathan. Just picked up a guitar today as a present and my partner was very pleased with the quality. Nathan seems to treat every customer with great care, he takes the time to make sure that each customer is looked after properly. I say, give that man a raise! We will be coming back!
