Motorserve Penrith

The staff there were very helpful and kept me informed of the process, and continued to be respectful of my concerns over two other phone calls. Prices are fair for their work, and, as they are owned by NRMA, the membership discount is reasonable, too.However, I cannot award five stars, as I was left waiting for nearly a week with no car. I brought my car in on a Monday with a broken coolant hose and was told it would be looked at Tuesday by 2:30. I called them on Wednesday and was informed it had still not been looked at. It was not until Friday I finally got my car back and was charged $200 for a new hose and coolant flush. While I appreciate them taking the time to properly inspect the components for other damages and flushing the coolant, to be left without a car for nearly a week for a relatively small problem, feels excessive to me. It's lucky I didn't need it sooner!

Got a general service done and they wanted to charge me extra for a rocket head gasket that was apparently leaking and new windscreen wipers. I know full well there's nothing wrong with my rocket head gasket as I passed a rego check under 6 months ago. I can also get the wipers replaced for cheaper than what they quoted and do it myself. No effort was put into the complimentary car wash either, there was still marks on my car when I left. If you're not even thorough with a car wash, what makes you think I'd trust you underneath the bonnet of my car. These guys focus more on making quick $$ instead of acheiving customer satisfaction. Don't trust them as far as you can throw them. Going back to my regular mechanics at jamisontown next time. A lot cheaper, trustworthy and thorough. I don't recommend bringing your car here.Won't be back again. Very dissatisfied.

These guys are great!My daughter's 4yr old Subaru cut out on the way home from work and she was stranded on the Great Western Hwy. NRMA Road Service organised a tow to Penrith Motorserve which is not far from our home. It was after hours, so the car was left there and we visited them the next morning to outline the issues.Mike at the front desk helpfully suggested that we check the warranty situation with Subaru whilst Motorserve investigated the issue. Turned out, the car was still covered by extended warranty.Motorserve spent 2 days investigating & doing their best to diagnose the problem - which was difficult, since it couldn't be replicated. They fitted all this work in between their booked services. They kept us informed of progress and eventually identified the air conditioning compressor as the likely culprit. Since this would be expensive to fix, they recommended we take it to Subaru to be dealt with under warranty.They didn't charge us a thing for all the investigative work they had done. Such a generous and professional team!

Got my pink slip done at Motorserve today and the process and service was excellent. I booked on line and the process was very easy. When I took the car there this morning it was fast, friendly and efficient. As an NRMA member I got 10% off.

Great service and speedy turnaround even when things don't go as planned. The guys work hard to get good results. Highly recommend.

Definitely wouldn't take your car here, if you are pushed there by NRMA take it somewhere else. I was told that it would take a max of 5 days for them to repair/replace a side step and paint a wheel arch flair. That in itself is totally laughable why 5 days is needed for these tiny repairs, when I called to collect my car I was told after 4 was fine. I called at 4:30 and was told the car is still some 40min away and it couldn't be put on a truck, after speaking to a manager I was told 'the repairs were not done properly and it wouldn't be ready until Monday'.Apart from the fact that I needed the ute for the weekend the manager also told me that 'they can't be expected to get it right 100% of the time'. To be clear it was a standard Ford colour on a wheel arch flair for a new ranger, nothing special about it but apparently it was 'hard to paint'. No one even bothered to call me, I only followed up as the car was still showing its GPS location as the workshop in Windsor, so if I get the car back on Monday it will be 9 days for the simplest repair. Don't worry, it's not their fault as they have over 100 cars to do so don't expect them to get it right 100% of the time. Shocking customer service to the point I have raised it with NRMA.

Dodgy. Went there for service for 7 years. Have now gone to a local. Charged me once for a new battery they never replaced. Was under warranty mind you. Never had a service under $1K. Now they are under $500.

Had my car at Penrith Motorserve for a week to get both front CVs replaced and Intermediate Shaft Bearing replaced.It took 7 days(5 working days)to source bearing.A look of suprise when i informed them Penrith Mazda sell the bearing.They were unable to replace Intermediate Shaft Bearing,due to dust shield will be damaged and do not have correct tools.(The bearing is going to be replaced so it does not matter about dust seal.)Pay the bill for CVs and my Wife drives home,while i drive other car.Arrive home and my wife mentions car makes rubbing/grinding noise when turning.I take car out and sure enough there is the noise.I pull over and call Penrith Motorserve and explain noise.They inform me to call Roadside service and they connect me through.Roadside service arrive at house jack up car and first thing noticed are 5 destroyed wheel nuts.Photos taken.He then grabs wheel and it is loose and I mean loose.He says the Hub is loose.Video taken of that.Takes of damaged wheel nuts and there is the problem.The Hub nut that is meant to be tightened to 257Nm has been tightened by hand and not even staked.The car now has get towed back to Servicecenter on Monday to get re checked and rectified as advised by NRMA road service.I thought the car would be to drive safely home after being repaired and there could of been a serious accident on the drive home.Very bad Workmanship for a well respected company that drives home the point of mechanical and road safety

I went there to get a new wind screen fitted and was told they don't do that any more. They should get their website corrected!!!

The best Mazda dealership I've ever been to great service and staff and always a pleasure to deal with and my car is in great condition after they give it a wash
