Bernina Sewing Centre

Have just popped into this store,, am visiting from out of town. Was shocked at the jumbled state of the store. Could hardly get in the door for several large boxes. Fabric and shelves hardly accessible and very untidy. No staff greeted us or offered assistance. Disappointed.

Hi my name is Suzie and I was most impressed with the kindness and service from Jason...I have a very old sewing machine, which weighs a ton and Jason kindly carried it into their shop for me I knew it was probably the power cord that was faulty and he phoned me the next day to say they had found a secondhand cord that would fit my old machine and that it was ready! (I think he did a quick check with other things also) amazing service I was delighted, he was very friendly and explained everything to me. I would recommend their wonderful service.

I'm disappointed. I brought my machine in for a repair because something inside was bent and scraping on something, and the stitches weren't centred. I paid for the initial investigation and then a full service and was told it was fixed. Having got it home and tested it, the stitches are centred now, but whatever was bent and scraping is still bent and scraping. The person taking the machine in didn't listen to me, repeatedly, and just kept asking really basic questions like I'd never used a machine before - so I guess I got the service I could expect from someone who doesn't listen...

Went above and beyond in their service. Cannot praise them enough.

My Dad, came into this store and was treated like he didn't belong there - extremely unhelpful. I have just seen someone else's review asking for an itemized list of alterations done only to see instead the store-person cut the buttons off her jacket. Disgusting behaviour

I had a few items i needed repairing a few weeks ago. Small alterations, a few buttons on a dress, 2 holes in a pair of pants and some tears on a few blouse. Also a zip on a dress and some buttons on a coat. I had 7 items in total and was charged $92.50. I thought WOW that's quite expensive but as we had just come out of lock down i wanted to support a small business. I paid the sum and was advised my items would be ready the following Friday (6 days). That was fine. The next week when i returned to pick up my items, the women told me there was an extra $30 i would need to pay...i told the lady who i assume was the owner that i did not feel comfortable paying an additional $30 on top of the $92.50 i had already paid. She proceeded to tell me that, the person who did the alterations had spent an entire day on them and that i needed extra things done. I asked her to show me what additional repairs were needed, and she literally picked up every single item and told me what was repaired (which was what i had paid for). She could not tell me what additional repairs" were made on my items. I said to her

Can you please update your website re opening hours when the shop is closed? Very annoying to travel quite a distance to find it closed when other shops are open for business.
