Barunah Plains

Wow! What an amazing place! We had a fabulous family Christmas at Barunah Plains. All the rooms are huge, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms that are all beautifully appointed, many lounge areas and super large kitchen.There are so many spaces to escape to for some quiet time and other areas where everyone can come together.Our family of 20 especially enjoyed the enormous pool, outdoor dining, wonderful views, special times sharing a Christmas feast all around the wonderful dining table and plenty of relaxation together.So many memories of wonderful times shared together. Thankyou Barunah! We hope to see you again….

Seriously the most perfect wedding venue. Our top priorities for our wedding were to have an option for guests to stay (shearer's quarter's and glamping tents), and no curfew so the dance floor could go all night long. Our recovery day was by the pool next to the homestead and it was SO much fun.Our phones have been going off with messages from our wedding guests saying that was the best wedding they've been to...... And we'd have to thank the property and location for that! Thanks again for hosting the best weekend of our lives.

Barunah Plains is dreamy! We chose it for our wedding because we knew we wouldn’t have to do much to set the scene, and boy did it deliver! We got married on a rainy March day and it felt like we were on an old English homestead. The sunny day BBQ by the pool the next day meant that everyone could fully appreciate the gorgeous grounds. We’re so happy we could have all of our closest friends stay with us all weekend. Barunah plains is an amazing venue, and Ali and Damian make everything so easy. We can’t wait to visit again one day soon. Thanks legends!

Barunah Plains is such a beautiful venue. My husband and I got married there over the labour day long weekend and everything was perfect. To have all of your guests stay onsite with you is definitely a winner. We can’t recommend this venue enough if you’re looking to treat your family and friends to a fun weekend.

Barunah plains was the most perfect wedding venue for us. A beautiful canvas that allows you to bring in your own suppliers and decorations. Also the perfect getaway for you & all your guests. Ali was amazing to deal with through the whole process of planning the wedding. Especially during covid times she was flexible and worked with us offering reassurance and options for all the obstacles of restrictions.Could not recommend Barunah plains enough.

Daniel and I got married at Barunah Plains on the 19th of Feb 2022 and it was the most magical weekend of our lives!!! We loved every minute of it!Ali from the minute we met was so helpful and always gave us the best advice with suppliers and the estate. Both Damien and Ali were amazing to communicate with and we’re very welcoming.The homestead is absolutely breathtaking with so many bedrooms and areas you can utilise (especially the pool area for a recovery) and it’s every brides dream having a private en-suite to get ready and share beautiful moments with her bridal party.You can take photos anywhere on the estate and they will be magic with even the gardens and florals blooming in every corner looks so stunning.We also hired the Shearers Quarters for all of our guests to stay and the rooms were so nicely set up. We received so many compliments from our guests saying they have never seen a more beautiful place in their lives.We absolutely loved our wedding weekend so much and would highly recommend future couples to visit and book this dream estate.

I was lucky enough to celebrate my 40th birthday weekend at Barunah Plains. It was in November 2020 so even up to the weekend before we were unsure it could go ahead due to COVID restrictions. Ali was incredible to deal with from the very first moment we spoke right up until the day we had guests arrive. The property was incredible, everything I could of hoped for and more. We spent two days in the shearers quarters where everyone had their own room, very quaint with beautiful linen and very comfortable beds. The communal area was perfect with the open fires and huge kitchen which had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place for a weekend away with friends and or family. Thank you Ali and Damian for making our stay so wonderful, I will definitely be back!

We had the best time at Barunah Plains over the New Years period! Damian and his sister Ali are fantastic hosts and property managers.The property is maintained beautifully and has absolutely everything you need to cater for a large group of people.They have really thought of everything to make your stay comfortable, So I couldn’t recommend Barunah Plains more!We will definitely be back again to stay soon.Jai

We held our wedding at Barunah Plains in January and it was a perfect venue for not just the day/night but the entire build and wind down. The accommodation on site was great for family and friends who had traveled and the size and seclusion of the property made it a unique venue in the region. The entire team were helpful and easy to deal with, with flexibility when setting up and packing up, with freedom to do as we pleased with our plan and structure for the wedding. I have already had people suggesting we go back for a weekend to enjoy the property again!

Barunah Plains is a stunning property with the most amazing sunset over rolling hills and grazing sheep. This property will not disappoint and once you have been it's hard not to make this a home away from home.The owners are lovely and extremely responsive and helpful.We have stayed at The Cottage numerous times, it's a place that draws you in and instantly makes you feel calm. We will be back!
