We celebrate a birthday there. Kac and Sam were very friendly and lovely. The food and service were excellent. I fully recommended.

We are local but it’s our first visit to this restaurant. Service is good. But the food to put it mildly would be an insult to call it Italian. The calamari definitely not fresh must have been bought frozen and battered. Garlic pizza was okay.Spaghetti with mixed seafood it was very very salty. In addition, I understand that you have to pre cooked the pasta but at least make sure it heated well when you served it. Salty and borderline cold.My husband veal scallopenne was borderline salty.We notified the server about how bad the spaghetti was, she graciously took it away and removed it from our account.Still hungry I thought I will have dessert, so my husband and I bought ordered pannacotta, worst pannacotta ever. Tasteless.We’ve traveled Italy multiple times. We’ve eaten countless Italian food, we’ve had some average Italian dining experiences. But most of the time it’s the best dining experience we have had.But this is the worst Italian dining experiences by far.Sorry I cannot recommend this place.Friday night evening totally ruined. And my husband was sick with gastro the following day.

Amazing pizza and wine and super friendly staff. Loved it that the chef came out and spoke with us and the limoncello at the end... Lovely touch!

Due to my relatives are Italian, therefore, we went to Australian Italian club in Hobart to explore the foods.We ordered the garlic bread pizza, which is not too bad, it is tasty. Nice dough base.Next, we waited for mains, Pancetta di Maiale" (Rosemary infused pork belly with a port wine ) and " Pollo al Marsala"( Chicken breast medallions panned with mushrooms

Australian Italian Club of Hobart
June 2021. The Australian Italian Club of Hobart seems to have had a change in management, for the better. The last couple of events we've attended have been well patroned and the organisation great. Food at the last event was delicious, however the Arancini balls were very soft and watery. It's great to see this club seeing a revival, with both old and new members enjoying themselves.
