Dr Dan's Voice Studio

I’ve been taking lessons with Dr Dan for almost a year now. It’s been an inspiring and empowering experience! I was intimidated to start, but his patient and encouraging way of helping you develop your voice has become the highlight of my week. I wish I had started sooner. Dr Dan is a great teacher. He's extremely professional, organized, friendly and he possesses a wealth of vocal pedagogical knowledge - basically, he really knows how the voice works and how to improve it! Dr. Dan is one of the most exciting teachers I've encountered. I've always looked for someone who could manage technique improvement, but in addition to technique, the science behind it. He's not just a voice teacher or coach - he's a vocal specialist.As a passionate lead singer in a band and a person with a constant desire for music, I wanted to continue to hone my craft. I knew I had found something different from what I've had previously with other vocal coaches and teachers from our first lesson. He's patient, understanding, and comes to every session with the very evident passion for music and teaching that every adult learning student wishes they had with a vocal teacher or mentor. Not only do you get the vocal workout that you need based on your current vocal fitness and abilities, but you also get the science behind what's happening in your vocal physiology. Having that breadth and depth of knowledge behind what I'm doing when I sing is really exceptionally cool!What's interesting about my private lessons with Dr. Dan is I am located on the other side of the globe. His schedule has many opportunities for crossover time, that it's not a requirement that I live in the same country! Virtual sessions are possible as long as you are equipped with a laptop or PC and internet access. You will not regret checking out Dr. Dan.

My lessons with Dr Dan have been great. Singing can seem quite scary in the beginning but I've found both Dan's attitude and high quality lessons have dwarfed any concerns I had. I've also been able to progress much, much faster than I thought possible. I mean, come on - he literally has written the book and teaches from it. What more could you ask for?

I sing for the joy of it, but as I have aged the voice has become a bit hoarse. I wanted my younger voice back. Dr Dan's voice lessons have helped bring back my voice and the joy of singing once again. Highly recommend.

Dr. Dan is not only incredibly knowledgable in his trade, but he is also kind, fun and easy to work with. As someone who has a background of vocal damage with a job that involves a lot of singing I have learned so much about my voice and I feel more confident than ever!

Love my singing lessons with Dan ! A great teacher (and human in general) and I have learnt a lot over my time with him and have noticed heaps of progression in finding my voice :) (have done singing lessons over the years with many others and nothing has ever really stuck but the detailed explanations that Dan goes into about the mechanics of the voice and why we do the exercises we do in class really works for me). Totally recommend and worth every cent !

Dr Dan is incredible! I had no prior experience and low confidence in my singing voice when starting out with him. He has helped me see tremendous improvement through following his exercises and feedback. His online lessons are top notch, as he has excellent equipment set up to make for an in office experience even from across the world. I couldn’t recommend him more!
