Repeated visit cos it's very clean, friendly, convenient location, lovely country outlook and great price. Comfy. Nice towels. Have eaten well previously but may need to book for meals.

My parents stayed here for our wedding and unfortunately they had a horrible experience.Sitting outside and a rat ran past them. Horrible service from reception and extremely dirty rooms

A very welcome sight after a bike ride from Canberra. It's reasonably priced and handy to the pub and cafes in Gunning.

I don’t like being mean - but yuck!The room was dirty, the shower was mouldy, the towels were falling apart and and the pillows were disgusting (yellow/brown patches and stained). It’s pretty hard to find accommodation in the area, so I’ll give it the one star for convenience.

Staff not friendly. Old milk in the fridge from last person. Poxy heater that barely took the chill off the room. Only good thing was quiet. Would stay elsewhere.

Superb. Places like the Gunning Motel bring a smile to your face. Old fashioned 'motel' charm - and such exceptional value. Super clean. Great showers. Comfortable bed. Friendly owners. It's in a great location to grab dinner from the pub on the main street or breakfast at the two excellent cafes. Long may Gunning Motel thrive as a welcoming regional place to relax and rest your head.

Nothing more than a bed, toilet & shower. Don’t expect wifi or even the ability to call reception on the phone in the room. Refused late check out, even though it was mentioned to ask in the motel information in the room - but hey, that was the last owner who did that write up that they’ve not updated in the 20 years they’ve owned the motel! When free camping is just across the road, it would be worth while learning some good old fashioned country hospitality

We have been here a few times and keep coming back. The facilities are pretty basic. Don't expect wifi or great tv. The owner is friendly and the rural setting is nice. The town of Gunning is a small town and worth walking around. Dinner at the pub next door. It's a good location for a stop on your way to Sydney
