Belmont Lakeside Holiday Park

We stayed here for a night as we were just passing through and wish we could of stayed a little longer. Great little park with a fantastic view of the lake. We were on site 126 and was concrete, long enough that we didn't have to unhitch if we didn't want to and had a view of the lake. Amenities were extremely clean, great park area for the kids to play and a nice walking path around it. Only downfall is the duck/ bird poo around due to the lake but that's the only thing and can't be helped with wildlife around. Park managers were really friendly when we checked in. We would stay again.

A dog friendly, family friendly holiday park. Water surrounds you and birdlife a plenty. Great for short or long stays.

Fantastic park! Stayed here for 3 days, super clean park, amenities & friendly staff. Great spot in the water, concrete slab site, nice and quite. Will definitely stay there again.

Very impressed with the services.We left the mouse for our laptop computer in the room when checking out. The reception post it back to us within a few days, that was very impressive. Thank you very much.The park location is wonderful, the room is very clean, compact but functional. Will stay there again, no doubt.

Stayed here last night for a quick overnighted so I was ready for a caravan service…. Honestly, big mistake, should have booked for a week!Park itself is clean and tidy with great open spaces. The sites themselves are clean and tidy with large concrete pads. Parking on sites was super easy and the views back out over the lake just stunning. Sunrise and sunset are just incredible; the views back over the houses and the marina, yeah wow.There are concrete paths which go around the outside of the park as well which made getting some light exercise easy. Plenty of spots to clean fish as well.Honestly, was saddened it didn’t book a longer stay. It’s a strong recommend from me!

Highly recommend a stay here. Cabins well set out with beautiful views over Lake Macquarie. Very quiet peaceful location. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic Holiday destination; good kids playground, pool. So clean everywhere, grounds, roads and toilets/showers, good Camp Kitchen, outdoor cooking facilities and covered tables, all staff are friendly and helpful, good sites, good walking paths, dog friendly on a lead, magnificent views over Lake Macquarie, great fishing fun for the kids.

Need to reverse the pet friendly park. People do not pick up droppings and wash dogs in the kitchen sinks and showers.Need to allocate vans to appropriate size sites. The overcharging for so called lakeside sites when most of the sites have a lake view of some degree. Stop guests from coming in with vans late at night. Dangerous and could cause damage. The toilet doors and wash basin surrounds are covered in scum. Need a good clean NOT a wipe over.

Stayed 2 nights and had a function here, the park itself is very clean and well maintained, however the after 10pm lights off rule is ridiculous, felt like I was on a school camp.The night of the function they turned off the lights without warning having elderly people ( some in wheelchairs ) having to try walk downstairs to exit in the pitch black dark luckily they were all able to exit without falling over due to not being able to see.After that we were on the side riverbank with camp chairs when the security guard approached us and told us they had received complaints about us being too loud ( which we weren’t ) but took extra care to be as quiet as possible after this, about 10 minutes later the owner came out and said we were being to loud and the security guard didn’t do his job with telling us to be quiet and that the complaint had come from him, was very rude and obviously had nothing better to do with his night, and also the fact that no one had complained about us to begin with was a joke in itself, later to release the owner could see us from his own cabin for whatever reason didn’t want us out at night.Highly do not recommend staying here with no lack of care for PAYING guests and ridiculous rules, I get the 10pm cut off during the week but Friday and Saturday nights should be until midnight.

Travelled down from Sydney to Newcastle for a soccer game, stayed overnight in our Caravan with Wife, 2 kids and 2 mini Schnauzers. WOW, this is the best caravan park we have been to so far in all our travels. Lisa was fantastic helping us out and went above and beyond as it was all last minute stuff on our behalf to organise. On arrival we were blown away by the location it is in short Stella. Water all around the park with great views across the water. It's like you're on an island with the only access on or off it is through the boom gates. Great with super clean facilities. Would Highly recommend 10 Stars.
