James is a hair wizard! I had a horrific ‘bleachcident’ at another salon and found James when I was absolutely distraught about the state of my hair. I didn’t even know hair rejuvenation was a thing, but he’s taken my hair from being totally unsalvageable to something I love again.Great with colour, amazing with curls and just an incredibly lovely human.Could not recommend highly enough

I first went to see James through a friend and immediately he and the space in which he works appealed to meMy hair was in poor condition and I do not want to be in a commercial salon with my hair being “tended” to by numerous people.I really enjoy the cool warehouse in which he worksI love the 1:1 service and glass of wine and a cheese board during my colour appointments and my bulk purchased blow dry that gives meWeekly or biweekly fabulous hairHe’s not cheap but then why would an expert like him be cheap !Strongly recommend if your self care starts with your hair and you enjoy a bespoke hair experience

ABSOLUTE PRO!!!James of The Blond Boy is an absolute pro! I’ve never been this blonde without compromising the health of my hair. James knows exactly how to help you achieve the look you want, while keeping your hair healthy. James is a rare find in Newcastle, I’m so happy to have found him. I walk out of his salon feeling amazing every time. His blowdrys are incredible also & I have quite curly, frizzy hair to work with. I highly, highly recommend The Blonde Boy!

James is a true professional. I have had my hair done by James for quite some time now and have never been disappointed. He listens to what I am trying to achieve, never rushing and pays attention to detail. Always a pleasure to visit his salon...how could you not enjoy going when offered a cheeseboard and a glass of wine on arrival. More than happy to recommend him to family and friends.

James was put on this planet to do hair. He is a marvel - so talented. You know you’re onto a good thing when strangers stop you in the street to ask where you get your hair done. If you’re wondering if your hair could look or feel better then get yourself to James, you’ll get the best hair of your life. Also, he works on models all the time...he knows what’s up!!

After relocating to Newcastle a few years ago it took me quite a while and more than a few trial & errors before I found James! Literally the best colour, and the most amazing blow-dry I've ever had........that was about 4 years ago and I've never looked back. Thanks James!

I always look forward to my appointments with James. I have been seeing James for over a year now and my hair has never looked and felt so good. I have thick, sometimes unruly hair and it has been much more manageable since seeing James. His colours and blow-dry is amazing too! I always leave feeling a million dollars. Prices advertised online (and at time of booking) were very different to quote price when already in the chair.Stylist pushed for me to use zip pay or similar or come back you can afford to do it the right way"."

The blonde boy is sensational. I have never been so happy with my blonde colour and cut. As a natural dark brunette I could not be happier!! James is so knowledgeable and always up to date with the latest products and techniques!I cannot recommend him enough!!
