Clean and Press

I had some garments I needed to have clean, I called their number and they said they will send me a text message once my clothes are ready for collection. They assured me that they will be ready for collection on that same Friday after 2:30pm. I went to collect my garments on Friday afternoon around 4:00 PM to find out their store was closed. I called their number and nobody answered. I send them text messages, which were never replied.According to their website they were closing at 6:30Pm, they never advised me when I should come to collect.For the price they charge per garment, you would expect to have better customer service and communication.I would not recommend this place at all.

The service and quality has been above anything else I have experienced. You can trust them to always do a good job with your repairs or alternations. The lining in my suit was beautifully repaired at a reasonable price and the staff were extremely helpful!

The lady that was there yesterday afternoon couldn’t be more unhelpful, told me to better get a new shirt because altered the one I have was too expensive ??? I walked away super confused as I never heard anyone working in a clothing alteration shop saying something like that. Never thought shortening the sleeves of a shirt was that complex. In hindsight I have dealt with lots of clothing alterations shops and from the beginning she looked like she didn’t know how to do it and also that she couldn’t be bothered. Never coming back.

I dropped a delicate beautiful dress with one small water mark on the dress, 4 days it was at the dry cleaners, it came out and any shine on the dress had gone and it was dirtier than it went it. Also when I picked it up it took 10 minutes for the lady to come out to the front. Don’t waste your money or time here. Very unprofessional

Easy drop off, but almost impossible to get your clothes back from them. No one is at the store, no phone number on the counter to contact, ring the number from google and never picks up. Tried 7 times to pick up, impossible mission

Can’t speak highly enough of this place. Weekly drops, with the same outcome every time. Quality workmanship with a smile.

I was told it would take a day to dry clean a jacket. Returning two days later to collect said jacket I was told the item wasn’t ready and would be ready in four days. This was after waiting half an hour due to a ‘back in five minutes’ sign being displayed. After a week I returned to collect my jacket and again had to wait 15 minutes with a ‘back in 5’ sign. My jacket had residual cleaning product on it which I had to remove myself. I will not be going back.

Every time I use this place it’s a difficult experience. The last time my dress was stained pink in places. The manager/ dry cleaner on the phone refused to accept responsibility, help further or provide any compensation. When I suggested I would report him to trading standards and pursue a claim he laughed and actually said, ‘You try. Many people have before and they’ve never won!’ How many other people...?!

Highly recommend. Have been a regular customer for 3 years now because of their great service and flexibility. Have got on-spot alteration done at a very reasonable cost. Love the 24 hours drop-off service.

I’ve use these guys about twice a month to clean my business suits, I don’t understand the negative reviews, they are really good!! On one occasion I sent in a jacket with a missing button, they sewed on the spare and didn’t charge for it!! Always happy with their work.
