St Clair Medical Practice

I waited more than 25 mins after my scheduled appointment to take my son to see Dr Ajay Wadhera. After very briefly examining my son’s face he confidently told me he is allergic to insect bites (said most likely mosquitoes). I questioned it as he’s been bitten before and never had a reaction like this. He firmly told me it was and everything I needed to get for it. I asked one last time before I left if he was sure it wasn’t an infection in his eye and he brushed it off like I was wasting his time.I ended up taking my son to the hospital the next day because his eye had become much worse even after taking the medication Dr Ajay Wadhera prescribed. It was confirmed at the hospital that my son had cellulitis and we had to stay overnight to receive his antibiotics through a drip. All of which could’ve been less severe if diagnosed correctly at the beginning.Will definitely not be returning and if I could give a 0 I would.

Have been coming here quite a while. The reception staff are great and very obliging with appointment times when they can be, but it is a busy practice, so they can only do so much:-) However, they are always there with a smile. Wait times can vary with appointments, but I don’t mind, because it is not a practice where Doctors make you feel rushed once you are with them, so I would rather wait a little while and know you are not going to be rushed to finish a consult:-))

Great drs and the reception ladies are always so helpful and professional. They don't get enough credit. Been going for over 4 years and it's always a pleasure

Very polite and caring. My family have been patients of Dr.A K Wadhera since 1979.I've also seen Dr Kalasabail on occasion and found her to be very thorough and caring.

My introduction to the practice was Christine on reception, who, at the end of a long day, made space for me to see a very genuine doctor. I am so grateful as Christine recognised that if her practice did not assist me, it was going to be a long night in a hospital emergency waiting room. Thankyou to you Christine and the sincere doctor who consented to fit me in.

Save your time and don’t go to Dr Ajay Wadhera !No respect he doesn’t even talk when going to the room! I don't know how should communicate with you DR, facing the monitor and doing work on his computer and he doesn’t give any attention like no one in the room, hello!! this Dr is a Joke!Mate just do people of St Clair a favour and retireI haven’t seen dr like him ever in my life! Unprofessional, do a course in customer service maybe that will increase your skills a bit!Cheers !

Whilst I appreciate all the Drs at SMP are very good, I speak from experience in saying, if you are after a GP that has a sincere interest in your well being, a competent, listening, empathic, knowledgeable and thorough work ethic, then you must see Dr Kalasabail, she is in my humble opinion, the best!

I visited the practice for the first time this morning and was seen by Dr Sangeeta Gupta. I cannot recommend her enough. As this was my first time to the practice, she was patient with me and took the time to understand my medical history. I didn't feel rushed, she listened to my concerns and made me feel at ease with her expertise and advice for my treatment moving forward.Thank you Dr Gupta for your valuable service. You are a true asset to this practice.

Best medical Receptionist in area. Always listen, understand and use commonsense to priority. Make doctors approachable, otherwise I started feeling that no doctor is available in area. I recommend Dr Gupta who never let your situation go worst. She is very knowledgeable and give best advice, your child needs. Now I am not gonna go anywhere else.

Dr Sara is a awesome doctor she is very polite and caring most importantly she listens to the patients problems. I have been seeing her more than 10yrs she is the best doctor there. For Dr Gupta who gave a sneaky comment how I react to most medications and not the specific one I asked for sorry to tell everybody is different and they do react to medication differently. When some is sick they don’t need sneaky judgement that gives the sick patients more stress and feel like a criminal. Dr Gupta please go to the empathy training it will help you to be a better doctor
