Love their food and coffee! Their mushroom risotto is amazing, and the lemon pancakes 10/10. Really nice coffee too and staff is lovely!

My mum and I are absolutely loving it here, the waitresses are so nice, the Cafe is so nice, the bathroom is super nice, and all the food and drinks are super good. Overall i think this Cafe deserves to have a reward for all the things they do and have.

3.8 with capacity to ascend.The Pepper Tree seems to have all the elements that make a good modern cafe these days. I like the inside. I’ve always admired the distressed look and they have that here with patches of plaster missing and showing exposed brick. I like the wood and old style light fittings as well. It’s shabby chic and immeasurably more interesting than the decor in a couple of the other cafes in the area.The staff were up and about. I was served promptly and politely with just the right measure of human connection when ascertaining and dealing with my needs. Water therefore came quickly as did the large long black I’d ordered. The coffee was absolutely fine. It was well made and flavoursome and was exactly what I was seeking on this cool grey day. The menu looked interesting here as well.I liked the cafe and I’d certainly return.

We absolutely had a great time here with fantastic food (espresso was also good one) and services. While we were looking at the menu outside, one of the staff talked to us casually and explained briefly. I quite liked how he didn't push us to get-in, but let us choose, and we are glad what we did. Thanks! Definitely will come back pretty soon.

Lovely and quaint. The decor gives a nice balance of rustic ruggedness and trendy date restaurant. I had the lamb that was on special while my friend had the haloumi chips with tartar. Had generous servings and the price is rather reasonable, won't break the bank. Went in on a Thursday so was rather quiet, would be really nice to see it livelier. Support local!

I had the pumpkin risotto. It was delicious and it arrived quickly. For dessert I ordered strawberries and ice cream which took over half an hour to arrive despite 2 reminders. The service was very ordinary from a disinterested, forgetful waitress. The decor is rather kitsch. Doubt I would return despite the food being good.
