Very poor quality, and don’t want to do the warranty job! The builder left the construction waste in the bathroom drain. We have blocked drain and asked the plumber came to unblock it. A lots of construction wasted in the drain. We took the photo and sent to them. They rejected to pay for the bill!We have water marks and water damage on the ceiling. They said we have to make sure it is not maintenance job. We asked two roof leaking companies to check it. No roof leaking. They still don’t want come to check it and asked $250 call out fee!Really bad service!!

Choice Homes is a very well run family business with a great team of staff. With over 25 years of building behind them and thousands of happy customers, Choice Homes is a great builder to choose.

I bought home & land package. They terminated my contract because price goes up and they want more money. They want $25000 for same package. So please be careful. Tried contacting them but they won't respond.

If I could have given Choice homes negative stars I would have, we’ve had issues from start to finish with them, let me be clear if your building with choice homes DO NOT expect many choices, we couldn’t have the front lights we wanted even though they were offered to us couldn’t change our bathroom tiling, was shown a display home and didn’t get the exact extras we were offered then. I’ll attach an email from Steve the construction manager stating that they specialise in investment homes and pre select everything from colours to features when the land gets developed, be very careful all of you young families out there that want to build a house you actually want because it won’t happen, I strongly suggest you look everywhere else for “retail” builders, and I haven’t even gone into the communication issues, we’ve had Naomi their approval and plans administrator completely ignore our emails and whenever we call up she’s always in a “meeting” never to return our calls. Just be careful everybody, really do your research do not make the same mistake we did and build your family home with Choice Homes.

We had our first ever home built with Choice Home and completion was September 2016.The Good:It was built fastThe Bad:Defects after the build were hard to get resolved. I’m the end I gave up.Not even 6 months after the build, towel racks falling off, toilet roll holder falling out of the wall.The Extremely Bad:6 years after the build 31st August 2022) our house flooded due to a part bursting in the ensuite under the sink. Insurance plumber when they saw the part were gobsmacked because “they should have used better quality”. What then continued when we started our renovations due to the flooding was a disaster due to POOR QUALITY FITTINGS FROM THE ORIGINAL BUILD. They did not use standard sized plumbing. Skirting was nearly 2cm off the ground. They hid this but adding a wood thing the same colour as our floor over it. They told us the did this to look asceticly pleasing.Chunks and holes in the concrete when all the flooring was removed. The concrete not straight. In the backyard the fencing they used is about 10cm from the ground. Dogs from neighbours back yards keep coming into our yard. The studs are not the same widths etc. Our garage door belt has snapped, the pulley is plastic and it broke, the repairer said he hasn’t seen a plastic pulley in so long. We now have to actually replace the motor!! One thing after another. I honestly could right a whole novel.It would have been best if we spent an extra $30k and gone with someone else that would have built us a better quality home. I could honestly cry with how bad the house was built and how many issues are now arising just 6 to 7 years later! And we are now only seeing exactly how bad.Because we were first home buyers we used a company which I can’t now remember who referred us to Choice Homes. No one said you should go in an pick colours etc, we got emails saying please hurry and pick your colours. So we did and did it online. That yes would be our fault but let me say again, we were first time home buyers. There was no room for negotiation. It was either that price or nothing. Both choice homes and the company we went through who organised our home loan and who referred us to Choice homes made us feel as we had no other option that with Choice homes. We were duped, we feel as though we were scammed and if we could go back in time we would run the other way.If you are looking for a cheaply built home then choice homes is your go to.

Built our family home in the Northern GC. Finished ahead of time and the quality and communication was AWESOME. Great company to deal with.Highly Recommended Qld Builder!!!

I work closely with the team in a related industry and it is always a pleasure. Have to make a special mention about Nicole on Reception who is fantastic - barrel of laughs and great representation of Choice! Great team and company to work with.

I got my house built from them in 2020 I have some issues regarding house maintenance and no one has responded even tho I sent them more than a few emails.

Could not recommend this builder. Incorrect roof colour and product, incorrect garage door colour, no door in house closed upon day one of build finish, house was sinking one side due to no gully pits installed on cut side. Refused to rectify and lied to QBCC. Terrible communication, literally had let's thrown at me at the office. No customer service. Plenty of others in Woodlinks estate with issues from this builder with no recourse.

Had a home built by Choice Homes in the Ipswich area and had nothing but trouble. Walls and ceiling cracks, roof deteriorating leading to costly repairs, showers leaking leading to water damage, cracks throughout the tiles in the bathrooms, ongoing replacements electrical fittings and switches, an investment disaster!It must be said that Choice Homes warranty & repairs service team were very good, they do go over and above to look after their customers.
