Balga Dog Park
Great local dog park which has 2 divided sections. Has park benches sans pit for the doggo's and mostly well maintained grass area. People are friendly and always different dogs ready to play there. It backs onto the state park and playground along with 2 large ovals.

Lack of regular maintenance. Grass mowed 4 weekly allowing weeds and bees to proliferate. Not good for dogs or people with bee sting allergies. 2 vet visitsfor anaphylatic shock. Often run

The park is beautiful. The big dog section is HUGE and the small one is bigger than most park we've been to. Fresh water for our furry friends. Definitely one to check out!

Nice dog park until last Friday my Maltese has got beaten by other dog. Some owners with a big dog unleash walking outside of the park, and kept telling me that their dogs are safe and won't bite, but then what happened to my dog Is shocking...!!! I still have trauma until now, and my poor dog will never recovery as he was before.

Balga Dog Park
Balga dog park is a good dog exercise area. There are two enclosed parts to it, one for big dogs and one for smaller dogs. Less than 100m away is a skate park, basketball court and bmx/Mountain bike track for the kids to keep occupied too.

Clean and tidy when we went at about 7am but lots of workmen mowing and cleaning etc (which is a good thing) but didn't stay too long coz our dogs didn't like the edger etc noises. A few low walls for dogs to jump on but not much more in the way of tunnels etc. Plenty of benches to sit on and water for dogs.
