Poor quality and non responsive builder:I bought a built brand new house about two years ago from this builder.The only positive thing I can say about the builder is the fact that the house layout can be customised. This house has an excellent and a very efficient layout.Having said tha, after a few months, I started finding dozens of cracks in the house. There were problems like doors not closing, gaps in skirting etc. Some cracks are as big as 70 cm long.I reported these issues to their customer care and maintenance, and only after many many follow-ups, they finally did a plumbing inspection after a few months from my initial report.The outcome was that, there were cracks in the drainage causing movement in the soil, resulting in cracks in the house. According to the builder all those cracks were in the drain portions that were underneath the external concreting work that I had done after the handover. Therefore the builder had a convenient excuse and asked me get the drain repairs done, following which they would allow a few months for the house to resettle, and then work on the cracks, and other issues inside the house.I argued that there is no chance of drains getting damaged by external concreting work. The drain pipes were at least 80 cm underneath the ground. This was not acceptable to the builder.I had no choice but to get the drain cracks repaired at my own expense.Now, while the repairs were being done, one of those drain damage was found 'Under the Foundation Slab'. I immediately contacted the builder's customer care over phone about it, and also wrote many emails. The customer care told me that this information has been passed on to the maintenance team. Until the next 4 months no one from maintenance contacted my regarding it, given the severity of the issue that the crack was under the foundation slab. After 4 months when the building manager called me, he said that he had no idea about my email or my call to customer care, and did not know about the crack under the foundation slab until that moment. I don't know how to react to this. This was unbelievable.I had even sent a pdf with the pictures of how things have gotten worse inside the house in every room. This includes gaps betwen floor and wall tiles in all bathrooms.The builder said that they would come back with a plan. It has been 6 weeks since then, and I have made further follow-ups via email and phone calls.The maintenance manager does not seem to be bothered, and I have not received any response.I will be escalating this issue, especially the one where a crack was found in the drain underneath the house slab with the relevant legal bodies.I hope no one has to go through this kind of an ordeal with a builder that does not seem to have any integrity, after delivering such poor quality work.I have posted a few pictures here. First they said they will build the house. I paid deposit and then they introduced Uniquebuild who did very poor construction at my house. Now they are separated from them but I am stuck. NOT TRUTHFUL

Supervisor Alan dumped soil and other rubbish into our land next door to we’re they are building and are now basically saying that they have already removed the waste! Extremely disappointed and frustrated as we are trying to sell the land! Unprofessional

Uhomes just did a great job with my new home! Really happy with their work and design. We can talk to their designers easily and we can custom about anything my house. Highly recommend if you are considering building a house.

After purchasing a fixed house and land package, Uhomes tried to up the price by 30K, after having a solicitor tell them no as it was not in my contract they proceeded to delay construction a further 3 months. 8 months after the title of my land they told me they will not build my house for the contracted price and that they were also going to keep my deposit of $16,250 for work they have supposedly done even though they still haven't even applied for building permits. Buyer beware this is a very unprofessional buisness

The complete ignorance of the driver of the BMW with the #plate UHOMES.Parked in the disabity parking area out the front of Sountern Cross while the poor elderly couple had to try and squeeze into the spot they clearly had a sticker for.Hope you business etiquette is on a higher moral level that your parking entitlement.

They are way too far from being called a builder. Too much talking less work. Meeting everyday. After 3 months I moved in, my garage ceiling was full of water. Forget about maintenance inspections. You will not get what you asked for on your contract. Stay away from them.
