Golden York Chinese Restaurant
Food is good. Prices not so good. And the surcharge for non credit card EFTPOS payment is an insult. The use of a non local bank is also not in good standing with the community you operate in. Will likely drive another 30kms and utilise Northam instead.

We were very disappointed. Nearly $90 and the honey chicken had no actual taste, the chicken was dry and awful. The Mongolian beef was some beef and onion in a runny sauce that tasted like tomato sauce and the rice was so over cooked it was mush. We won’t be back when we can get quality Chinese in Northam for 18 a dish instead of 26…..

Best chinese food I have had for a very long time. Very busy so food a liitle slow in coming to the table but well worth the wait. Lady at front desk very good.

Ordered honey chicken and satay chicken with side of spring rolls and steamed rice. Food was decent, portion size generous.

We had a very enjoyable meal. The Tom Yum Soup, Spring Rolls, Honey Chicken, Pepper Steak & Prawns in XO Sauce was delicious! Bit pricey but all the same, we would recommend. Thank you

Whilst in York we ate at the Golden York Chinese Restaurant and although we arrived at 8pm and they close at 8:30 they welcomed us warmly. The food was very good as was the service.They did not rush us to finish although we did finish our meal as quickly as we could as we knew they were due to close.Thank you guys for a lovely meal and experience.4 out of 5 given only due to early closing hours in our opinion.
