I have been going down to Aireys Inlet for over 50 years, the go-to place as a kid till me taking My son down to visit Aireys was the local pub, that was till the day i took the family for a pizza at Captains! over the years we have had most of the pizzas on the menu and have loved every choice, including the desert pizza. even though it did replace the local pub as the go to place, i do order beer made at the Aireys pub from captains when we eat there as another good thing is they support other local establishments.Another good thing is how quickly a takeaway order can be ordered and ready for pickup even when they are fully booked up

Every time I’m down the surf coast I make a beeline for this restaurant. Pizza is always first class, fresh tasty ingredients and Moretti on tap doesn’t hurt. Great pizza options for kids too. Highly recommend.

Stopped in while visiting from New Zealand and hands down one of the best wood fired pizzas I have ever had, staff were friendly, prices were fair, only wish was that I could get something as good back home!

Simply Fabulous. The pizza is amazing. Can highly recommend the Pork and Pear or the Chorizo and Prawns. The pizzas are really good, great bases and well thought through toppings.This is just the start as to why they deserve their Capitan" title.The staff are wonderful and make the whole experience just delightful. Do ask for beverage pairing for your food and you won't be disappointed.The important thing to keep in mind is you must save room for desert.The surprise was just how good desert is. We had the Gin and Tonic tart

The staff were very lovely and helpful, the pizza is authentic and I highly recommend the Pork and Pear pizza. Might be the best pizza I've ever had!

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here; pizzas were all absolutely delicious (we had Mr Oz, prosciutto, magharita and the Lemon & prawn pizzas), service staff were delightful and friendly. To top it off, the dessert (we had berry crumble pizza dessert and brownie) was amazingly!We ate too much, but all worth it! Definitely coming back. Keep up the great work.

DON'T GO TO ITALY FOR THE BEST PIZZA IN THE WORLD...GO TO THE CAPTAIN OF AIREYS!We were travelling The Great Ocean Road and stopped here for dinner one night.We loved it so much we drove a long way to come back again 2 nights later.Can't rate the pizza's or the service highly enough!

we had lucky to order before the are closed we have ordered vegie patch and cheese kid pizza Both pizzas were cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of seasoning. I would definitely recommend these pizzas to anyone looking for a delicious and unique pizza experience.

Such a feel-good place! Absolutely yum pizza with great vego options (sweet potato is a must have), good selection of wine, nice music, very welcoming, quick service and warm dog-friendly indoors. Can't ask for more. I'd consider it worth travelling from Melbourne just for the pizza!
