I had Uterine Artery Embolization done by Dr Cameron Scott on Monday the 13th of February. I was extremely nervous. Dr Scott has such a peaceful nature. He and his staff made the whole experience so much easier

I accompanied my father this morning for his scan in the nuclear medicine department of Qld X-ray at Greenslopes Private Hospital. The service we received was outstanding from the moment we entered the reception area to the moment we left. The experience was first class with genuinely very caring and attentive staff …and a good sense of humour thrown in too which is the best medicine!

I had an MRI here a few days ago and the staff were incredible. I had had the worst morning, was in a lot of pain from a bad fall, in the middle of an anxiety attack, and had forgotten my referral in my rush to get to the appointment. Not a single staff member made me feel bad for showing up late without my referral, even though I know I messed up their schedule.Thankfully my GP was able to fax over my referral within a few minutes, and I was seen immediately.I was treated not only with professionalism, but great kindness. The appointment was finished before I expected even though i was late, and the older gentleman greeting people as they walked in was very generous with his time - helping me get my referral faxed over, listening patiently in my anxious state while I tried to apologize for disrupting their morning, even offering me a medical certificate so I didn't need to go into work after my fall and anxiety attack.All the staff there are great at their job!

Hi over the last few months I have had a few scans and xrays and I must say that the staff were impeccable, their treatment and their friendly manner were excellent. Don2/_

My partner has been in an out for the better part of a year due to a CSF leak.Just wanted to give out my heartfelt thanks to Andy, not only is he the cannula king and should train others so they have as awesome skills as he does, but the fact he can cut through my partners anxiety and make her feel at ease.Honestly mate, I appreciate you and the way you look after us, as I've said if my boy can even be half the nurse you are in every regard, I'll be a happy parent.Not saying the rest of the team isn't amazing just Andy goes above and beyond because his seen our struggles.

Today my husband attended his appt for an MRI which was scheduled for 6.30am at Greenslopes. He arrived at the service at 6.20 am after being up at 5.00 am. The receptionist was very kind assisted him to fill in the necessary paperwork as there was a bit of confusion with his name on the referral. But it was sorted. The Radiographer came to him and said they are way to busy and he couldn't get his MRI done. He has been waiting weeks for this and is in chronic pain. This had to be done before his appt to see the pain specialist on Thursday. The person didn't even offer him to wait but told him that QE11 had an appt vacancy at 7.00am tomorow. He then had to come home very disappointed and not happy. . He decided to call the Mater hospital Queensland X ray and they assisted him greatly and offered him an MRI at 2.00pm. He did have to wait a bit longer but was seen with great professionalism. He was their before his appt at Greenslopes. Pretty sad, and discusted to see patients treated poorly. Unfortunately people rely on these services but today was a disappointment. Thank u to the Mater for meeting patients needs.

Had the worst experience here. I had a very junior employee who didn’t know what she was doing. I had a pelvic ultrasound, she took 20 minutes for internal which was extremely uncomfortable and then while the machine was still inside she ran away to get someone more experienced, it continued for another 10 minutes. External was 30 mins too. It was very uncomfortable and should have taken half the time. I’ve had this previously at another location the girl knew what she was doing this girl did not. The experienced girl asked her questions and she said Um maybe yes, not sure.For junior staff you should not let them go on their own, they need to be supervised until they are properly trained and experienced. This was awful, I’m in pain because this girl had no idea what she was doing. How can you examine someone for that long.

Fast, polte, helpful and the area was pleasant and above all clean
