St Marys Park View Motel

My girlfriend and I arrived late Friday night for a two night stay after an all day train trip - we were greeted by the reception staff who were bordering on hostile, (despite previously being advised that we were coming from the country and would be checking in late.) We settled into our room, which was clean, spacious and reasonably appointed for our needs and set out for our night as planned.The next morning I visited reception to pay the balance of our account when I was (falsely) accessed of over-occupation of the room. (Which is virtually impossible in a small space, unless someone is sleeping in the spa or armchair!).Our room was not serviced on Saturday - the bed not made and the towels only replaced at my request. The toiletries and breakfast items were not replaced for our second night either. (For $210 a night I would have thought this was a given)Will be finding other accommodation next visit to St Marys!

A run down, tired looking motel with a host of issues. Also they engage in somewhat false advertising, this is not a 4 star hotel and has not been accredited. This hotel is 2 and a half stars AT BEST. Here's why:- Key card did not work for me and multiple other guests, yet they blame the guests for keeping the card next to their phone. That's not how it works.As a result, I had two different people try to get into my room because their cards didn't work on their own rooms (one at 1am in the morning!)- On multiple occasions despite the card actually working once set up properly, the door to my room jammed and had to be barged open.- 200 dollar deposit required, yet this is not advertised on the website.- Pool area advertised on site, pool is closed.- Over half the switches and light bulbs in the room did not work, literally had to swap bulbs from other lamps in order to light the room.- Bathroom is run down, has cheap, low quality fittings, a loose toilet seat, and black mold in the shower.- Some of the furniture in the room is absolutely filthy and looks like it's never been cleaned.- Air conditioner is a split system but is louder than most wall units I've encountered. This can be an upside though as the walls despite being concrete are paper thin, so good if you have chimpanzees staying next door.- Location is right next to -and shares a parking lot with- a pub, so you have the occasional yelling idiots at night but also get woken up early by morons using a beeping cherry picker to fix the signs out front.+ I didn't try the TV or wifi, so I can't comment on whether they're good or not.+ The bed thankfully was comfortable and well made by the staff at least.+ There's a shopping centre within walking distance of the hotel.+ There's also a Hogs Breath Cafe right out front so you can get a half decent feed.

It was ok the bed has stains on it, the bathroom didn’t have a vent, the room could’ve got 2 double beds but instead their was a couch, air conditioning takes a long time to cool the room, no general light just lamps

Great place to stay. Kind friendly staff. Clean tidy rooms. Highly Recommend.

We had a function in the area and needed a place to stay overnight. The room was outdated, however it was very clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. There was plenty of storage space if you need to stay a while. Staff were helpful and friendly

Terrible customer service, it’s like customers are an inconvenience to them. There was a hole punched in the bathroom door. We left after two hours. I still have not received my bond after 9 days and when I called they said there was no card on file (despite me paying over $400 total at check-in). The whole place is overpriced and under-managed.I will never return.

Lovely staff! Family owned business. They stayed back for me to do a late check in and let me extend my stay. Rooms are big and bed is comfy. Spa bath was clean and no re clean by me required before getting in! Great service guys

Spa bath water not very hot and button for the spa is not even in the bathroom but outside on a wall.

The staff at ParkView Motel were extremely accommodating to myself and my two friends late at night on a Friday while they were very busy.We arrived late in the eveningat, last minute with no booking with a broken down motorcycle. The Manager bought us out tools, lights and water, let us setup in a corner of their parking lot and pull an engine down for repairs, while having a chat with us. We were in the parking lot from 7pm untill 8am. They allowed us extra late checkout so that we could sleep.We were allowed to stay in the parking lot untill late the next day without a booking while they were busy, still repairing the motorcycle.Staff was extremely helpful and nice, room was great, shower was hot and had good water pressure. Hogs Breath is right next door.10/10. Very good place to stay.P.S Sorry that we accidently drained 3 litres of oil on your parking lot.

The owner is a perv. The hotel is dirty beds and floors never clean. For 3 years they never allow anyone in the pool because they are not insured. They cleaners rob you. The owner takes you let bond by using the dirty room as a excuse. The room has been dirty for years but he wants ur bond. Most important the Indian owner has hidden cameras inside the rooms . Stay away
