I recently attended a friends wedding here and was appalled by the hostile, rude staff members. I believe that the staff of any venue holding an event, are massive contributing factor to the energy throughout the night and from the moment we arrived the energy changed and let me tell you I was not the only guest who felt this way.They were rude to guests ordering drinks, I don’t think I saw them smile once, they were overheard talking about some of the guests, they were also rude to the bride and tried to place extra charges over the night which led to her spending the last hour of her wedding stressed out and trying to organise things so this didn’t happen.I would never recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding or looking for a reception venue.Although the views are beautiful, the staff ruined every good thing about it.Very disappointed, we will not back.

I recently attended a friends wedding reception here, and the only good thing about it was the guests. The venue seamed really nice when we arrived but we were soon appalled by the service of the staff. The unprofessionalism of the staff really diminished the beautiful venue. Myself and other guests were made aware of some ugly behaviour behind the scenes, that made the venue look like money hungry thieves, adding additional costs last minute and doing everything they could to not return the bride and groom's bond that they had paid. Only giving one star as this can't be posted with no stars.

Recently went to a wedding at this venue and was really disappointed for my friends. Was really appalling how they were treated and all their guests.

Worst wedding venue!This ‘establishment’ was the most poorly run, disorganised venue I have ever encountered.Staff were rude, unorganised and intimidating towards guests throughout the night. Our wedding was ruined by the staff members and just to top it off they added on any extra expense that they could think of to the night. Taking our whole deposit for things like broken glasses, a scratch on the lift, Added extra staff the night before the wedding at their own choice and charged us for that as well, kicked guests out for accidentally dropping a glass, decided to cut the music at 11pm and kicked everyone out. Take your money anywhere else!

Attended a wedding here recently. The staff were rude and unprofessional. I’m devastated for my friends. Don’t waste your money… Not even deserving of the 1 star.

I had recently attended a wedding at the surf club and had been surprised by the rudeness of all staff throughout the night. I would recommend avoiding having a wedding booked here unless you’d like to have your reception ruined by their employees.Making clients and guest feel unwelcome and like an inconvenience to your business is not the way to have a successful business.Also a shame to see them ruin the bride and grooms evening with their dramatics and threatening excess charges for no clear reason. Absolutely poor behaviour.

Great coffee every time. Unreal view. Yet to try the food.

I attended a wedding here recently, all I can say is the staff were insanely rude and unprofessional. from the time we stepped foot on the premises the staff made everyone feel uncomfortable and were not welcoming. Les who is the president" of this facility was extremely hostile towards the guest attending. So I would just like to warn newly weds who are looking for a place to have their reception. go far away from this place."

We had my wedding here and the staff and the president that is running the place will run this whole venue into the ground. The venue itself is stunning but unfortunately the lack of communication, the rude behavior is not worth it. Do yourself a favor - if you are booking your wedding, just book at one of the resorts or many wedding venues that actually know what they are doing !
