FANCY FEATHERS AND FUR

I have tried a number of groomers for my little dog and she is normally terrified. Penny has been a god send for us as Bella is now a happy and relaxed puppy when having her grooming done and we couldn't be happier. From everything I have seen about the staff they absolutely adore the animals and treat them with care and love. Animals can be very difficult to deal with and grooming them I have found to be impossible. I am so grateful to Penny and her team for the care they give Bella and have found her to be nothing but professional and accomodating. Highly recommend this amazing team for the best care of your animals.

We have been taking our Cavoodle to Fancy Feathers and Fur for a couple of years and Penny never disappoints. Max always leaves looking as handsome as ever. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We wanted an urgent apptfor our Westie who was in very great need of a hair cut. A time was found for us and our Isla, who has skin problems was catered for. We are very happy with the pet groomerHighly recommended.

I had a good experience with this place a couple of months ago and was all praises about it. Today otherwise was a nightmare and will never ever set foot to this place ever again and hope others will realise it too that the owner doesn't care about you or your pets, they just mean business. My partner and I came through the door for our appointment and a dog was running towards us and the owner shouted to close the door immediately, like really???? Aren't you suppose to be looking after them properly and safely? But we were cool about it. We left our dog for grooming and haircut and before we left the shop, we had a look at some dog products but then we heard the owner talking behind our backs not realising we were still there. I went and spoke with her and took our dog back and told her she shouldn't be doing that. Is that how you treat your customers? You're okay in front of them but when they're not around, I just couldn't imagine what else comes out of that filthy mouth!!!! You should also see how your dogs are treated when they're washing them (a kid doing it and very rough, I've seen it with my own eyes). You should be ashamed of yourselves!

They did an amazingly good job on my dog - who filled a bin with all her underfur. Excellent service & thanks from Daisy who's all clean & groomed for the hot summer. We'll be back!!

I have brought my dogs here for a couple of years now and I have never been happier, the quality of care penny and her team bring to myself and my dogs is amazing, she treats my dogs like they are her own.. I can't speak highly enough of penny and her business, no matter who I deal with whether it be penny or a team member they are always extremely friendly and accomodating. I walk out every time with my dogs looking amazing with exactly what I wanted and happy.. I highly recommend fancy feathers and fur..

Penny was absolutely wonderful and patient with 2 schnauzers, one of which went crackers.. Now they look like schnauzers, no more tangles and white feet. We will be back!

Although your review started in a sensible and factual manner by the end of it your remarks evolved into an overly emotive spiteful tirade.I have taken my dog to Penny for over 6 years now and am more than happy with the quality of her work and the level of care for our extremely precious pampered family pet.She is always honest and straight to the point with her advice and doesn't sugar coat the facts...just the way it should be :)

I'll preface this by saying that this place is probably totally fine for dogs who don't have anxiety issues. But for my anxious dog, it was a bad idea. I was forewarned by the owner that she has 7 small yappy dogs who would bark as we entered - so I do appreciate that I was warned. When I dropped off my two dogs, all those dogs were outside so I thought once they settled down it would be fine. But when I came to collect my dogs, all 7 of hers were inside the small salon with the other client's dogs and mine (which I didn't expect to happen - and I did tell her my dog had bad anxiety). When I entered it was so loud I had to yell over all the dogs to ask to just pay and get out of there. My dogs seemed traumatised by the experience so I won't be going back. As far as the groom went - she did a great job with removing my sheltie's undercoat, but went really overboard with the trim (shelties don't need trimming) and didn't get all their knots out. Overall - it was good value for money, but if your dog gets anxious easily I would avoid getting a groom here.
