Great pub thats popular with locals. Very tasty food, generous portions. Friendly obliging staff. Been a few times & consistently enjoyable

Went in today with my partner after hearing they do smoked meats on the weekend and was not disappointed!We got one of each of the smoked menu starting with smoked chicken wings followed by pork ribs pulled pork and brisket and it was AMAZING. After the feed the manager even took us out back to see the gigantic smoker where the magic happens, it's huge! (Picture attached) the pub itself has a great vintage aesthetic with plenty of indoor and outdoor dining as well as a kids play area. I will be back again and with more people next time well done guys! 5 stars for delicious food 5 stars for the great venue and 5 stars for excellent service.

Meals were decent but I asked for pineapple on my Parma and it got completely ignored. It wasn’t busy at the time. However the service was quick and kids meals were great with a drink and dessert combo.Unfortunately the only staff that seemed remotely happy to be there or have any personality were the older bloke and a girl with bright red hair. All the rest were stone cold, never a smile and I almost felt like a burden when being served.Kids play area was great and kept the kids well entertained while we ate. Always a positive!

We went for steak night and to be honest, I didn't expect much. Wow, was this a real surprise! It has been over a decade that I have ordered a steak and it actually came out as I asked! Thank you chef! The staff and management are so amazing and down to earth (yes, they listened to me rambling on lol) and were so polite about it. The kids playground is hands-down the best EVER. There are 3 jumping castles for the kids. One is a big one with a slide and 2 smaller ones for the little ones, just in case some parents get concerned. Not to mention, they didn't have any worries about my mum (in her 60s) helping her granddaughter on the jumping castle either. Oh and if parents feel too far from the jumping castle playground, don't worry, they have a tv screen that shows the CCTV footage from in there! I can not recommend this pub any more. I have asked when their specials nights are as I will definitely be returning. Monday night, Parma night, Tuesday is steak and Thursday is ribs. I'm a single parent and can't afford many places, this is my one exception and I will definitely be returning as a regular. Parents, don't blame me if your kids don't eat dinner, mine didn't they had too much fun!

A really lovely place, well presented with a good menu. Kids playroom is a great plus too. Outdoor area is huge and looks like it would have a great night-time vibe. Would love to see that smoker getting used, but even more would love a little bit of a wider selection in beer available. On tap is your standard Carlton Draught/Dry, Bulmers, Great Nothing and Fat Yuck. Most I saw in the fridges were a couple of Cooper's Sparkling. Then again, they know their clientele better than I do, so maybe the punters are happy with bottom shelf beer. They seem to run a courtesy shuttle which is good too. Overall, well worth a visit.

Invited here for a child's birthday and did not expect anything spart from a country pub. Well what an absolute surprise.....firstly for the kids they have a very large safe room containing 3 full size jumping castles one with a slide. Kids absolutely love the jumping castles. Has a CCTV camera playing to a TV in the dining area where you can watch the kids outside the jumping castles from the comfort of your table. Good and varied menu selection. Professional and very friendly staff. The meat board brought out containing brisket, ribs, pulled pork, chick wings and salad is the best I have seen and a meat eaters delight. Outside in the rear is even a better surprise beer garden. Great atmosphere and ambience. The outside men's urinal is unique and needs to be seen and I'll just leave it at that. Arrived at noon anticipating to be gone by 1.30pm. Such a great place with good food and we had good company we rolled out at 8.30pm. A absolute surprise. Great work by staff to make the venue so enjoyable..

We came here for an after wedding recovery party for lunch and an ongoing party. We had lunch, and I had the satay chicken pizza, which was very yummy and fresh. The huntly hotel has loads of seating inside and out. There is a kids' play room with multiple jumping castles. The hotel has the usual fit out expectedPlenty of parking and wheelchair accessible.I also had a lovely coffee, which was smooth and rich. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and efficient. I would recommend the Huntly Hotel for lunch, dinner, a group booking, or even just a date.They had a huge like smoker, BBQ, which I can easily imagine there would be cook up days and events.Hope you enjoy a nice meal or gathering here as much as we did.

Had our engagement party in their function space. Brilliant food and atmosphere. Staff were really accommodating with last minute changes to catering. Our guests went home happy and with full bellies. Kudos to the owner, Mick, who stayed throughout the event to make sure it went smoothly.

Fantastic pub. Great family atmosphere. Smoked pulled pork and brisket was amazing. Kids meals very generous. Play area for the kids consisted of 3 jumping castles! Even my 2yo had a ball. Worth the drive out!
