Amazing food! The taste was absolutely delicious and very authentic to the real Shanghai cuisine.The restaurant was clean, tidy and nicely presented.The owner Kevin is such a lovely gentleman, very helpful and he was explaining to us: “Here we cook from our heart, with our heart, we pour all our love into this food” and it seriously shows.An absolute gem to try at all cost !

The food tastes great and is reasonably priced. We had the Xiao Long Bao, Pan Fried Prok and Chive Dumplings, Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs, Beef and Black Pepper and Scallion Noodles. It wasn't obvious to us but you have to order at the counter. For some reason there is a cash only sign but they had card facilities - all part of the charm.

We are the regulars at this restaurant. Food is nice and customer service is great. Our favourites are grilled fish and xiaolong buns! They make the buns fresh onsite everyday.If you have sweet tooth, make sure try their sticky rice cakes too!

Utterly disappointed with the business practices here, I don't think the lackluster food can redeem it nor the atmosphere. Surprisingly, the interior harks to a fine dining restaurant with its spotted lighting and ceiling design. Though it's standards are far from its appearance, the food we received did not match the menu images by a long shot e.g the fried rice in the menu was spread out along a plate but in reality it was served as a bowl shape and thus, a smaller portion. Majority of the food were in mediocre portions and its flavour could not support it. The vegetables were oily which hindered its freshness, the pork meatball tasted mushy and the Chinese sausage fried rice only had morsels of sausage and wasn't enticing. The best specialty lies with the fried dumplings and xionglong buns, the meat in both were juicy and refreshing and the dough was complementing. Service was polite but slow to respond, took a solid 10 minutes till they refilled our water. Also, there were no napkins either? But the worst of it all, we were charged higher than what was shown in the menu. That is a very deceitful and irresponsible practice, there's nothing wrong with changing prices but at least indicate it by changing the menu as well! The damn vegetables in a small bowl cost $19 in reality! We wouldn't have chosen it if we knew the price but was duped by the place! Consider yourselves lucky that your dumplings saved you from a one star

Random find in Hurtsville for lunch. Owner (Kevin) was super friendly.We ordered the grilled fish and Xiao Long Bao. We also received a free dessert (sticky steamed cake).Starting with the negative, the Xiao Long Bao wasn't soupy inside. Besides feeling and tasting they were over cooked, the flavour was different. I can't remember if there were other flavour options in the menu but their fillings were sweet which didn't appeal to us.Positives: the grilled fish with lip-numbing peppercorn sauce were amazing. It took me right back to China. This is worth coming back too. Thank you, Kevin!

My family is from Shanghai and we all love to eat here. This is typical Shanghai style food. Better than Shanghai Li long. Spicy chicken & potato dry noodles is my favorite, same taste as i had in my childhood memory. Xiao long bao is also extremely delicious. 100％suggested.

Never fails to satisfy our stomachs. Vegetarian options might be limited but really tasty and flavourful. Enjoyed the vegetable soup noodles. The gongbao tofu didn't taste like gong bao. More like mala. However, it was a very tasty dish! So glad we ordered it. And very friendly customer service.

Came here for lunch, owner and team members were a delight.Music and ambiance is second to none, food is hot and delicious.Will definitely be back for more.
